I have been playing this hack, and I must say:

it is excellent!

I have a question: what type is the second gym leader?

Yeah, a lot of people have problems with my username. Things were running smoothly, I've been busy with what feels like everything except hacking. The OWs will probably be re-done, because I want to add a backpack to the hero and fix the side-on OWs.

I'll probably stick with the movesets I have made for the starters, unless you want to make some improvements. I'll need your help when I have to start making the Elite 4, I want them to be really, really hard to beat.

Yeah, I know how to fix that problem now but thanks for reminding me. Yeah Mike is pretty tough but it depends on your starter, Gavin can be really tough too if you don't have the right pokemon.

It evolves at level 42. I don't think there is much need for the VS. Seeker ro be honest, you'll be pretty high leveled at the end of the game, though now that you remind me, I'm going to have to delete the VS. Seeker parts out of their scripts.

Originally she was going to be Steel, Rock and Ground but I want to save Steel for later on. I'll probably change it. Yeah. Like I said before, she uses some D/P Pokemon that aren't programmed in properly... yet. I don't want to work on them until I have properly resized sprites.

Gavin got owned by my awesome pikachu of death. Also, I know I have no say, but please don't delete Vs. seeker. It's a pain trying to train against wild pokemon. Also, is steel gym number 6? Also, the surf area south of Granite is messed up. The coding from the route with snorlax got thrown in there and when I talked to a swimmer it said this tree looks like it could be cut down.

But what's with the National Library? Why were all the trainers in there 10 levels higher than the gym leader in the town. I mean I'm not complaining, it made the gym a lot easier, but I just thought it was a little strange.

Yeah they're supposed to be strong because I didn't want people to try and fight them.

Of course, if you have no life like me, your team is already in their early to mid thirites and could destroy them. Also, thank you for just saying it wasn't in the beta. I preferred that much more to walking into the place and having it crash or glitch. Pelrose has a big graphical screw up on the east exit.

Haha, yeah... though I wanted the Azumarril to be his strongest. A perfect scenario for it would have been it uses Belly-drum, Mike uses his Super Potion and it anihallates your entire team with Mega Punch, unfortunately that only happens sometimes and if you're faster than Azumarril theres no chance. I decided to put Curse on Vaporeon in case you got past Azumarril.

Actually its De-es-hay-a-bo-sa. Hayabusa is the last name of the character in Ninja Gaiden and DOA, Ryu. DS are the initials for my last name.

You beat Gavin with a Pikachu?! I knew I should've given his Swinub some sort of ground attack. Yeah, I guess I could keep the VS. Seeker, if you guys really want it, I just don't want people to fight the Pokemon League with a couple of lv90s.

I'm glad you liked it. Though I guess for someone like you it wasn't all that impressive? Now that I think about it, I should really add some more interesting features...

The National Library is supposed to be sort of a side quest, where you can go if you need to gain some levels to defeat a gym leader. Maybe I should make it so that you can only fight people on different floors after a certain event (like the Trick House).

I hate making a post without updates. Thats usually why I avoid answering questions immediately sometimes. I know you guys hate it as well. I certainly do when I look at the threads of other hacks. So heres a bit of a compromise...

Believe it or not, but it is possible to get the World Map in Pokemon Genesis. To get this item simply talk to the fat man in Verasa Cape after you deliver Dad's Parcel to your dad.

The Rods

Show this old fishermen some of his favourite Pokemon and he'll reward you with some of his belongings.

The Move Maniac

The Move Maniac can be found in Latim City. Why is he important in Pokemon Genesis? Mainly because the D/P Pokemon in the game can learn really cool moves from him.

National Library Treasure Hunt

In the National Library there are over 60(I think) hidden items for you to find.

Fossils

Spoiler:

Fossils that are needed to get Shieldon and Cranidos can be found in Mt. Perin. You can take these to the Lab in Palerose Town t be revived.

Happiness

This guy will reward you for being either an exception trainer or a terrible trainer... you can't lose.

Nice hack, i rly enjoyed playing it. still i didnt love it in some places, not full originalaty, in places like some homes and some npcs u didnt change a thing. anyway i cant wait for the next beta, and some bonus here are all of my pokemons at the end of the beta :

Also, by the entrance of Pelrose there is a map issue. A giant rock thing (like the elvated ridges in mountain areas) is cover some trees.

VS Seeker = Yes Please, I like to train up about 3-4 Pokemon(Depending on what's available) and they tend to come in at different lvls/stages of the game so VS Seeker makes it that little easier to help it lvl up :)

Also where is the exp. share going to be if at alll ?

seeing the list of ExMaikel's pokemon, i want to ask you a question.
Do you plan on changing feebas's evolution because i doubt anyone will be able to get milotic otherwise.
maybe you could make it possible so it evolves through a water stone or a berry with a lot of beauty stat in R/S/E?
and after that, do you plan on changing any other pokemon evolutions?
oh, and in mt. perin, i could walk through the side entrance and talk to the silver and gold plates from behind them.
i'll give a screenshot if necessary.
and one last thing.
for some reason, i cannot fight the leader in palerose town. It freezes one or two seconds after the battle screen shows up.

Oh, of course. That's because the Library was originally SILPH CO. with a few unoriginally changed maps and easier trainers!

You want me to change every single house and every single NPC? Most houses have the same map offset. And coming up with something original that ties in with the hack for every person is not as easy as you might think. I might do it later on though.

Feebas evolves at lvl20 like Magikarp. I've already edited all the Pokemon evolutions so I probably won't change any other ones. Thanks that bug has been fixed.

Thats a bit harsh, I changed every trainer, not just made them easier, and why are they unoriginal? Yes they are hidden. I'll change the maps that I didn't edit at all though.

I probably will release a bug fixed version soon. You'll be able to get some D/P Pokemon in this as well, so that'll give you guys a reason to play it again.

Alright, after my little return from cinnabar island, i went back to verasa cape.
for some reason, there is something 2 tiles down from the center stair that freezes whenever i talk to it, that and the fat guy is on the water and when i talk to him after entering and leaving a house, he still moves while talking to me.
and thank you for telling me, i just hate to not know something about pokemon.

EDIT: I tried to go to felridge city, but for some reason, the game freezes whenever i walk three steps before felridge city.
I hope you can fix this because i don't have a fly HM.
