Not really. FR/LG wasn't released very long ago when you think about it, and it wouldn't make sense for Nintendo to release the G/S remake right after they did another remake. If a remake is going to come, it's likely to either be the next set of games released, or the next set of games released after the Generation 5 games. Of course, it could happen later than that, but I think those are the most likely times for it to happen.
If that does happen, then I rather want it to be after Platinum.

My patience has run out after many years of waiting.

    Id say no.

LG and FR were made so they could transfer 1st gen over to other games,
But LG and FR have both 1st Gen and 2nd Gen, So LG and FR cover for G/S too.
And l;ets not forget that none of the legendary pokemon of jhoto are obtainable by correct means all in one game in the current day. And sure in fr/lg you had the dogs but hell they had the worst stats.

hate to burst your bubble crystal but the sprite you have for the shiny pichu is dark its not the same color as pikachu and it was there would be no reason to do an event for a pokemon when we can already get it. so theres a difference

Sorry for the large letters and alol those stars i just needed to vent it out before it gets out of hand.

Like that wasn't out of hand? : /

Anyway, I'm not sure if there is a third colour for Pichu or not, but it seems pretty unlikely that there would be. Not only does it seem relatively pointless to implement three different colours of the same pokemon (besides pokemon that have gender differences or pokemon such as Gastrodon), but the difference isn't significant enough for it to be considered a third shiny colour, in my mind. We'll have to wait and see, of course, but it would make sense for it to be a regular shiny Pichu considering that it is an event for D/P/Pt. games, right? And it appears that the games don't have codes in them for another coloured Pichu.

    Goddammit, pointless discussion is pointless.

It's just a different colored pichu released for an event. Done, end of discussion. They release an event pichu, and that's all. No arguing, pichu=pichu. Just shut up and lets think about G/S more instead of this stupid useless pichu discussion.

*twitches* Try... to learn... spelling and grammar.
No, there havn't been any more clues. I'm currently compiling a list of references to GSC though, just so we can look at the whole list.

so do you think theres going to be more clues in platinum???
Personally, I doubt it - the english version of Platinum should be basically the same as the Japanese one, bar the fact that we can actually understand what they say and what-not.

I believe there's already a list of sorts on bulbapedia...

Alongside the more concrete references listed above, there are a few "hints" theorists have pointed out that are far more speculative. Some examples follow:

    • The Park Balls are gold and silver in color, with a light blue band across their middle that may represent the games Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
    • Like in Gold and Silver, the rival of Diamond and Pearl can be battled twice a week on certain days after final static battle with him.
    • Gold and Silver introduced two new Eevee evolutions, Espeon and Umbreon; likewise, Generation IV introduced Glaceon and Leafeon.
    • Sweet Honey, an item in Sinnoh that can catch Pokémon in certain trees, was initially a concept meant to be included in Gold and Silver but was never implemented.
    • In Pokémon Platinum, the legendary birds were found roaming Sinnoh after the player has beaten the Elite Four. As a result, the legendary beasts are currently the only legendary trio not available through a Generation IV game, and could be supplied by a remake.
    • It should be noted that Gold and Silver never explained what became of the legendary birds. Players were left to assume that the birds fled after their respective "nests" were disturbed by Red three years earlier. As Generations II and IV are concurrent, we can now assume that the trio fled to the Sinnoh region, and therefore, their absence could be better maintained in a remade Gold and Silver.
    • When presented with Oak's Letter, Professor Oak states that the white rock on Route 224 in Sinnoh has a counterpart in Kanto. There has been no appearance of a white rock in the Kanto region, though a smaller white rock is seen in Mossdeep City in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Kanto's white rock could be a Generation IV addition that would appear in a remake.
    • There are unused sprites for Shellos and Gastrodon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl; since their Pokédex data say that their colors and shapes differ from region to region, it's possible that their unused forms are meant to be obtained from Johto via Gold and Silver remakes.
    • The Poké Ball motifs on the floors of the Pokémon Centers are gold on the top half and silver on the bottom half. This design also appears in the Pal Park.
    • During a wild Pokémon battle, if the bottom screen is tapped with the DS stylus at certain times before and after the battle options appear, the normally red and white Poké Ball becomes gold and silver colored.
    • On Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia's game card, the two colors in the background were silver and gold.

    Other reasons

    A G/S Remake? A G/S Remake?
A fake picture that has been spread around the Internet showing so-called "remakes"

The only Pokémon to not have their stock art updated to Ken Sugimori's new style are Generation II Pokémon, making them look out of place when next to their evolutions and pre-evolutions of other generations. Theorists speculate that a released remake would result in new stock art for these Pokémon.
It is also becoming physically impossible to play Game Boy Color Pokémon games for any length of time. The internal batteries used in Game Boy cartridges normally last for many years, but the ones in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal have begun dying quickly because the constantly running real-time clock drains the battery more quickly than expected. When the batteries become unusable, players are unable to retain game saves. Nintendo could address this problem by creating new games that run off of the Nintendo DS's internal clock, like Gen IV games do.
With the addition of the legendary birds and legendary golems in Platinum, it seems that the games are moving away from dependence on Generation III to complete the Pokédex; this means that the other Pokémon still missing from Platinum could potentially appear in future remakes. There is also no legitimate way of getting Celebi in Europe or America without hard-to-find bonus disks; being a Johto Pokémon, it may be given an event if the remakes are released, much like Mew was after FireRed and LeafGreen.
The remake theory is considered by some to be strengthened by the release of the third model of the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DSi. The system does not have a slot for GBA games, which effectively cuts DSi users off from the Generation III games and Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum's dual-slot mode. DSi players will only be able to attain such Pokémon by trading either over Wi-Fi or with players who own older DS models. However, when this was pointed out by a reader of Nintendo Power, the editors stated that this would likely cause sales of the older DS models to stay strong.

The fake box art probably would've made perfect for the remakes,

I doubt the DSi will have anything to do with G/S

There has gotta be a reason why Ken hasn't revamped the Gen II Pokemon
