I don't think Kanto is something they can remove and rightfully call this a remake. Exploring both regions is something unique to GSC.

I strongly agree. I hope the Kanto is there, especially because of the Sevii Islands. It'll make the game more fun and it'll give you a lot of things to do.

I think if they include Kanto, they won;t include the Sevii islands. The islands were to make FireRed/LeafGreen to be more than just a redo with better graphics, it was an addition, which is what I'm worried about with HGSS. Having Kanto and Johto is doable, but there is a game capacity, having the Sevii islands would be hard too. And they can add something to Johto so they don't have to have Kanto, like a Battle Frontier.

Lets see, if they put in ofcourse the Johto, the Kanto with a new story to it, and the Sevii Islands...Then it'll probably take me around 2 years to finish the game...LoL xD

Just kidding, but man if all that is in, then it'll be a fun game indeed.

Yes, it will also be helpful for those people who say they have nothing else to do in the games they have.

I would love to travel both regions in this remake, and there is a possibility that there will be the Kanto region in this remake.

To tell you the truth, having the Battle Frontier in Platinum is good enough, it really isn't needed in the Johto. Plus, I prefer the Kanto to be added in over the BF any day.

Yeah me too, but Game Freaks attitude might be, well hell we made FRLG so why should we put in Kanto again? But yeah, I really hope they include it.

If they don't include it, then it'll truly feel like playing half of the original GS games.

Well, no Lugia isn't found in the Sevii Islands, he is located in the Whirl Islands in the Johto Region I believe. As Ho-Oh is found in the Tin Tower.

If Lugia was located in the Sevii Islands, he would be catchable in the Kanto region and then they would have to add the Kanto region.

That reminds me, I wonder how Whirl Islands and Tin Tower will look?

The Ds can add in so much more and so much that is unexpected at the moment.

The Sevii Islands were not part of the anime, but they were mentioned in the manga.

I agree. The orange islands were only in the anime I believe.

I was wondering, do you guys think the bug catching contest will still be in the game? I think so because you get to catch pokemon such as Scyther, Butterfree, etc. in there.

Yes, the Orange Islands was for the anime. The Sevii Islands were for the Manga. So, to add onto this, there are many islands, and yes they can get a bit confusing...LoL

Most definately, it should be! Unless they replace it with some crappy Johto Sfarai Zone of something. Also, stronger gym leaders? I mean, in the original the fourth had 2 Pokemon, level 28 Primeape and level 30 Poliwrath!

I don't really think they will replace it. I mean it was originally in the game and it would be kind of sad if they would replace it.
