Actually, that's the main reason the game is made - so DSi users won't say they can't get roughly a half of the Pokemons.i doubt the time capsule will return as most pokemon can be obtained via diamond, pearl, platinum and migration from the gen 3 games
i'm new here(hiz)
so i was wondering is HGSS gonna be compatible with battle revolution?
also i really hope they expand kanto well
To be honest, I wouldn't expect the Time Capsule to make a return. It wouldn't have much use if Pal Park is being implemented, and because HeartGold and SoulSilver is an updated version of what has come before it, then compataibility issues will be worked out better than before.
If anything, the Pal Park would simply be placed in the original Safari Zone back in Kanto, seeing as how the new Safari Zone is now in Johto. Not to mention, if the Time Capsule were to not make a return, then waiting until the National Dex to import Pokémon over from R/S/E/FR/LG wouldn't be a complicated issue.
HGSS and DPPt take place 3 years after RSE and FRLG just like GSC took place 3 years after RBGY. The time capsule could be reused or renamed to Pal Park.I hope you guys realize the only reason it was called a "Time Capsule", was because Red/Green took place earlier in time than Gold/Silver, which required you to go "back in time" in order to trade with those games. So the omission of a Time Capsule isn't for the reason of Pal Park, but more like there isn't only two games you're getting pokemon from, and you're not trading this time. But I do agree that there won't be a Time Capsule.
