Don't worry, that makes perfect sense! Bi-curious is a funny little thing to play around with, as I used to think that's all I was, until my first experience with the opposite sex, when I realized for certain that I was definitely bisexual.

However things work out for you, I do hope you find your way out of the forest of confusion.

(Damn, I'm full of metaphors today. First goats, now forests... :D )

thank you for clarifying that for me ^_^
    i appreciate it :D

I'm straight, I'm sure that I'll never fall in love with another man, but I don't have any problem against other people who do love people of the same gender.

I know it sound stupid, but, to me being gay is just like smoking. I don't care if others are smoking, but I will never smoke.

But thats just my opinion, I'm sorry if I insulted someone with this.

Hey, no problem! That's what this thread is here for; so we can help each other through things like this!

That's a perfectly valid reason to hold, and I don't think you have a large chance of insulting anyone with it. But may I ask why you've posted in the first place?

EDIT: :@ sorry if that sounded a bit harsh, I didn't mean it to be like that (I've just read it back) I was really just wondering.

I'm not gay but have no problem with gay people. Infact I've always wanted a gay friend because I used to say
"I wish I had a gay friend so that he could go hang around with all the girls then come back an tell me if any of them like me, plus I'm crap at decorating stuff and when I get a house he could help me"
haha I know it's stupid but it was when I was young lol, still don't have a gay friend 6 years later (It would be cool to speak to some on here)
Some of my friends have friends that are gay an one time this guy was hanging around with us an we went to this club (straight club) an it was a great laugh, but when he started kissing his boyfriend right in front of us I felt kinda sick inside. I think just cause I'd never seen anything like that before and I was out of my comfort zone.
But after that it was ok cause I was going round talking to girls an the gay guy was with me and for some reason it felt easier talking to random girls because he would always start the conversation with them, then I would join in. I never seen him after that but apart from seeing two boys kiss it was a great night :D
An just to clarify, I don't have any problem with gay marriage or gay people adopting. I just don't like when they're all drunk an kissing about 2 or 3 feet away from me lol hope that doesn't offend anyone though, it's just my personal opinion. (Although to be honest, does anyone like strangers kissing right next to them?)

Also I read through some posts on here and was shocked to see how many regular users were gay, it never once passed my mind when I joined and seen all these regular users that any of them were gay, I just assumed everyone on here was straight :O never judge a book eh? Haha.

Yeah, as bad as it sounds when you say you don't like gay people kissing near you, I agree fully that having ANYONE kissing near you is awkward, uncomfortable and a little bit disturbing.

I have this friend(f) who's boyfriend... well, to put it lightly is ugly. As cruel as that sounds, he is. And she always sits right near to us and snogs his face off. It's not pretty. I can tell you now.

It's worse in the summer when we go on the field and they lay down and... *shudders*

    But I digress.

Oh, and it's worse when they're strangers, too. Never wait for someone in a known kissing zone. You will feel swamped. And slightly depressed at lack of own relationship...

I kind of find it funny when people kiss in public areas, I don't mind it, I just stare, for fun. Not intently, but just because they seem so interested in what they're doing (idk, does that make any sense).

When I had a brief foray with a girl, I had no problem with PDA (public display of affection).

I'd love to be able to hold a guy's hand in public though :3

Yeah I wasn't sure how to word that, but I hope that people see I didn't actually mean any offense by it.
An I think that when it is strangers and it's something you're not used to (I'm not used to seeing gay things or hanging around with gay people) it does make it a bit more uncomfortable, but when it was over the night only got better, I hung around with the guy the rest of the night, had a great laugh and it really made me feel good to be able to enjoy myself with people so different from myself.

EDIT: Didn't want to double post so I'll add this in here:

Why is it that you can't hold a guys hand in public? Are you nervous of how other people will take it or have you just not "came out" fully to everyone yet? Just kinda curious :)

I think PDA is the second most entertaining thing to people watching, lol. I'll laugh when I round the corner in school and see a couple in full make-out mode because it's like they're flippin the finger to everyone else. I've PDAed with girls before (I may be gay, but I do have sexual needs and it's not like we ever had sex), and I loved the reactions:

"Ohmigod, what's wrong with you two?"

    "Can't you be decent?"

    "Get a room."

"Ugh, if you're gonna do that then just get naked and have sex in front of us!"

Oh, I didn't mean it in that way, I just meant that when I did find a guy, I would hold his hand XD Not that I am afraid to do so.

It's not that I'd make ridicule about it, but simply just watch... Almost to a bit of a creepiness about it. XD (I wouldn't watch intently though)

Oh, yeah, because homophobia and trolling are both SUCH funny jokes.

Sorry for not laughing. And your badly drawn MS Paint image fully illustrates your intellectual level.

^The point is dont reply to people like that b/c they're either serious or making a joke.

Besides, I think most people are old enough on here to not listen to their parent's lectures on anything anymore.

(Oh and the was a pretty bad drawing. At least use photoshop >:O )

Oh this gives me a good place to vent. At my community college we have a Gay-Straight Alliance and they put up a bulletin board where you could write down your opinions and conceptions of the GSA...

and there was just SO MUCH CRAP. Like anti-gay nazi style crap. f-bombs abound. Even the ones that were mildly supportive weren't really "I love gays, but I think it's a sin".

arrrrrgh. Religion makes me angry >:|

I know I shouldn't, it's just trolls annoy the hell out of me, and I do like to let anyone know my opinion of them. I guess that's my downfall :)

The fact of the matter is, aroung 85-90% of the earth's population are complete morons.
    It gives me headaches.

But you know what's really scary?

There are some people who would gladly murder me just because I'm gay. That is sickening.

I really have to say, I'm pretty sure God is facepalming because of hate of this calibre. BECAUSE SOMEBODY LIKE THE SAME SEX.

Now, I can't speak on the behalf of God, but just saying.

I'm completely straight and I personally think that most people on PC are gay to be honest with you. It wont be hard to find a community.

I'm thinking of starting a straight club or something because there's a gblt one and I think it's wrong to leave people out.

I'm gay, but I agree with this guy.

I don't believe there is such a thing as positive segregation. There's no reason the "gay community" should have to isolate themselves from everybody else. There shouldn't even be a gay community ideally.

However I also think these things have come to be because of gay people seeking relief from other peoples prejudices, by finding people who understand.

As long as your part of a tolerant community that's not populated by backward minded hicks there's no need to keep yourself apart from straight people.

Having said that, I'm posting here because sometimes it's good to talk, so I guess that's sort of a double standard on my part! lol!

Don't hate religion, hate the misteaching of it.

I doubt very many of those people are against homosexuality because of their religion. We live in a modern day world where we are allowed to think for ourselves. Anybody who's willing to look into the Bible will realize that 1.) We might be taking it out of context, and 2.) The amount of verses related to homosexuality simply do not warrant all of the supposedly religion-related homophobia. Especially not when so many of these homophobes blatantly ignore sins that are on the same level. All of them do.

I mean.. If one is going to pick and choose (which all Christians really have to... You simply can't follow the whole book, and I seriously doubt that the vast majority of Christians have any clue what all of the things that the Bible preaches against are.) then one should pick and choose the good.

But of course these people don't. Why? Because they have something against homosexuals to start with. The majority of these people only care about the sins that denounce things that they are personally against.

So in reality, they are not religious beliefs, and they simply should not be respected as religious beliefs either. I know that there are some kids that probably honestly believe that homosexuals are going to hell because they were raised that way, but eventually they'll have to grow up and actually read their Bible. But then it's just a result of misteaching and still not a religious belief really.

@Porygon - As I've said before, nobody is excluding straights... >_>

Totally. The same sources that condemn homosexuality also condemn women from having jobs and other stupid rubbish like that.

At the end of the day God is love, so he doesn't represent hatred for gays. If two people of the same sex love each other why would God be opposed to that. God is love after all.

Anyways, in ancient Greece homosexuality was a part of accepted culture and nobody even batted an eyelid.

    @ Envy - Sorry, my bad ^_^
