I never played HG/SS, yet. But I have, I'll probably have Lapras, Vaporeon or Slowking. As long as they're tank types.

No. You have to go to the Union Cave's bottom floor to find a Lapras. It appears every Friday,

I was never a fan of the safari zone in any of the games, but I do like how you have to actually journey to the safari zone instead of it being out in the open

I don't like the fact the levels are so low. They're about mid teens in level. Until you get to place objects to attract stronger Pokemon, but some take a long time.

Yeah, it has to be something I really want in there. Sometimes you get lucky & find a good leveled golduck, but that's really it

I found a Lapras in the Safari Zone!!!

With no items, or anything! Just can't remember which area it was in.

Lol, on my SoulSilver, on my first run-through I had a Politoed, then a Poliwrath which never got trained up.

On my current runthrough, I had a Slowking, which I gave up on after 8 badges, despite it lolling at Claire's Kingdra (she never got me to half hp, and I 7HKO'd).

Now I have a Lapras.
