Been playing this game since yesterday, and i love it! Except i have a question, do bombsect and dugog(can't remember the name of the the mole thingy) evolve? They're really annoying me

Sorry for my newbishness here, but what emulator should I download to play this? I downloaded VisualBoyAdvance and it doesn't work

did you patch it to a fire red rom?

Yeah, they do, I'm not one for remembering levels though.

Now, you can thanks colcolstyles for this next update. Three reasons:

  1. He managed to convince me to implement this
  2. He wrote the routine for it
  3. He inserted the routine for it
And this is, of course, Sienna's very own Real Time Clock (and subsequent Day/Night system). Now, it's a much better system than the one that's publicly released as it has no bugs; such as the one where the palette changes when you enter buildings. Here's some screenshots of it in action.

The normal daytime palettes can be seen in any random screenshots throughout the thread
:P.

What does this mean for Sienna?:

  • Day specific events
  • Time specific events
And many other things; if you've got anything else you'd like to suggest then feel free to post them here. And before you ask, this was not the 'large project' I referred to in my previous post, this was just an add-on per sé.

OK I'm not sure if anyone has said anything about this, but the sprites for new Pokemon while they are in the menu screen are just recycled old ones that don't fit.

Also, entering Colt Forest the picture is off I believe.

How many fake Pokemon are in this hack? It looks very good but fake Pokemon are kind of a turnoff for me,

Haven't played this hack for a while, I can't get out of my room. What do?

Huh? If you've played the series before, you know how to leave your room, don't you? I might be misunderstanding the question but I really don't know how you don't know how to exit your room.

How many fake Pokemon are in this hack? It looks very good but fake Pokemon are kind of a turnoff for me,

Is it sufficient to say that there are not as many fake Pokemon as there are Nintendo Pokemon? There's probably around twenty that I can recall straight out of my head, at least. There may be a few more. And if you don't like fakemon, just ignore them. There's enough "normal" 'mons hanging around for you to still get your money's worth. (Not like you spent any money but...)

Anyway the new D/N system looks awesome, Harry. I'm excited to see stupid/pointless events that go on at five A.M. on Tuesday. >:D

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but somewhere around reaching Maas City I lost the ability to use Fly. Whenever I attempt to Fly, all I get is a blue screen with the character's head appearing where the current location would be if the map was there. No buttons work when this happen, and the only thing to do is reboot.

Nevermind, I did some back-reading and found this mentioned several times.

I've just done a speedrun Nuzlocke of this up to the 7th gym, and I have to say it's a pretty good hack so far!
I hope the Fly glitch is fixed soon :)

I don't know if you care, but I really like this game so far. I noticed a few things that seemed in need of fixing.

Spelling/grammar errors early in the game.
Mother's sprite doesn't have walking animation.
Some sounds are not placed in line with the proper text.
Healing machine in Maple's lab has wrong script when talked to from behind.
Odd path connection in Atlantic City. (I know this has been mentioned, so I'm not sure if it's purposeful.)
Tile in Nile City has wrong movement permission to the right of the mart.
Devon Corp building has a tile error: when you walk behind the fence on the left, the character sprite goes under the tile right next to the entrance.
Devon Corp building has Silph Co music. (Not a glitch, just sounds too menacing IMO. If you want to, just ignore this.)
Squirren's PokéDex entry has a misspelling: viscious instead of vicious and there should be a semicolon between cute and however. /grammarnazi XD
Nickname screen/evolution screen for any Pokémon still has the corner of the battle field in it.
Some Fakémon still have wrong menu sprites. (If this bit is still in progress, I apologize.)
Colt Forest intro screen is glitched in the worst way.
In Genesis Cave, you walk towards the west, however you exit in Mekong City, which is to the north on the map. (Not a glitch either; just seems a bit awkward.)
Right after you beat Jaykob, he vanishes for an instant, but when you step he reappears.
Some PokéCenter dialogue needs to be changed; people in Mekong City talked about Cycling Road.
Blank sign post right outside of Genesis Cave.

Actually, that's a little longer than I expected. I'm sorry if this came off as harsh and picky, but I tend to do that to things I'd like to see succeed. ;)

More to come as I get further in the game. Everything is looking pretty amazing thus far!

Most of those glitches are well known if you took the time (like me, yes i have loooots of time)
and read the thread you'd know these glitches.

And the mother one would need a new sprite table as she only has facing frames.

Hey I have a question I'm in Angara town and I found the stray taruos that belongs to the cafe owner, I put the tauros in my party and talk to the owner and everyone else inside the cafe but no luck as they keep talking about how the tauros is missing but even when its in my party. Plus I have an extra empty slot just incase but still no luck I'm guessing this is a glitch or something? also how do I take back over the tv station in Orionco city (If that's how you spell the name?). I need the HM surf to reach the 4 gym beside Atlantic Town anyone know how to fix this problem? Also in the Origin Well I made it down all the way to the bottom does anyone know how to continue from there I looked everywhere on the bottom floor but couldn't find no stairs or entrance onto the next floor I'm guessing you have to surf across? If anyone can answer these questions for me then thanx because I don't have the time to search this whole thread and I looked on google but couldn't find anything on it.

Oh yeah one more thing I put my Licky and (The pre-evolved form of Aerodactyle) in my pc box and when I went back later to check on them they disappeared and in their place I saw a bad egg on one the other pc boxes.

Sorry, I didn't get enough time to look through every single post... TL;DR syndrome got the best of me. :P I'll try to look through and re-post only the ones that haven't been mentioned.

Here's a list of ones I have encountered:
Healing machine in Maple's lab has wrong script when talked to from behind.
Tile in Nile City has wrong movement permission to the right of the mart; it should allow you to walk on it, but there's an invisible wall there instead.
Devon Corp building has a tile error: when you walk behind the fence, the character sprite goes under the tile right next to the entrance.
Squirren's PokéDex entry has a misspelling: viscious instead of vicious and there should be a semicolon between cute and however. /grammarnazi
In Genesis Cave, you walk towards the west, however you exit in Mekong City, which is to the north. Just saying, it's a little awkward and doesn't match the map.
Right after you beat Jaykob, he vanishes for an instant, but when you step he reappears.
Entering the gatehouse between Mekong City and Eden Path on the left side of the entrances does weird things: On Mekong side, you end up on the right side of the rug; on Eden side, you end up to the right of the entrance in the wall.
In the Thames Town Research Center, after beating Garrid, everyone talks about you getting a fossil, even before you get it from the researcher. Also, a guy gives you a Moon Stone; after he does, the text remains up and doesn't go down unless you talk to someone else.
The picture in the research lab makes a noise when you press A on it, but has no text.
In Atalanta Plains, the gatehouse has a messed up tile: stepping up one step puts the character's head above the overhang.
Some ladder confusion in Vrai Cave; some that lead up are down ladders, some that lead down are up ladders.
The smashable rocks in the lowest level of Vrai Cave re-appear after being smashed when the character moves.
A PokéBall item on Gogh Cross doesn't have a script.
For some reason, 0x Awakenings appear in my Items bag after picking up a Paralyze Heal in Origin Well. (It vanishes and reappears every so often until you leave the cave.)
Max's conversation on Lion Way has a misspelling; fleeding should be fleeing.

Everything else I saw has been mentioned already. Sorry if I seem nit-picky. Everything else you have done is very impressive, especially the Fakémon. (By the way, could you have made Viscamans any more amazing? Awesome movepool + huge Sp. Attack stat = Best thing EVER.) I've played through the whole beta now, and I'm very impressed with the level of design you've put into this. The dead ends on the map do irk me, however; that's just personal opinion, though, so yeah. I'll just *sunglasses* deal w/ it.

Just a question, did you base Kaveri Town and Maas City off of the latter of the Sevii Islands (4-7)? If so, I think that's the problem with the HM Fly. It's just a hunch, feel free to ignore it.

Also, can I get some help finding the 'somewhat rare' Pokémon on Cynic Way? I understand that it is a shiny Larvitar from reading other posts, but I can't find it, and I'm pretty sure I've stepped on every single tile, tall grass or not. I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to do.
