5th Gen Third Game Speculation

Actually, if it helps, our Spanish smod said that the source is actually from the most reliable news source in Spain, soooo... I'd say it's true, sorta.

There is however an alternate option - if Unova is a new start, like Kanto, it may follow the path of Kanto and get remade in new generations, and as a result, will continue on. If however, there is a third game, this may be less likely. So there's positives and negatives here.

If they really interviewed people from Game Freak, it does make sense.

And the Unova - Kanto idea sounds really good. I've always wanted more games to be like that. As a kid (2 yrs ago lol xD) I dreamt about a game where you visited all the existing mainstream regions and viewed them in a new light.

What bothers me is that one translation reads "...finished this series", which may be taken as BW being the last Pokémon mainstream games or something O_o

Just think about it this way, now they have more time to make the new Pokemon games for 3DS. ;P

yeah but still not having a third game is weird.......andeven though it gives them more time to make 3ds games.....they will never be better then the classic defeat 8 gym leaders and elite four and become champion wehile defeating evil team routine............unless it is a rnger game...but they won't have more than one for a sinlge generation......

I think they'll continue the usual storyline base as they have always done.

But develop it and stretch it, trying the limits, like in BW.

And RS remakes coming faster would be a nice thing :333

Oh I wish I didn't post that xD I personally don't believe it, BW will have a third version, it just has too. BW is incomplete, no rematches, etc.. And I heard the third version will reveal N's full name. I'm pretty sure they meant last on the DS system which is fine by me :D

Wait but they said "We have finished this series with the Black and White version." that could mean that BW were the last games of the Series...not just the generation...oh no my prediction came true that since it began with Red it would end with White( if true) just like the colors of the Pokeball :o!

Ah, but I almost forgot. There is something I want to see in a third game, namely the Goddesses of Love and Harmony ( or so I believe they are named ). Ooooh, I'm so torn between being cheap and owning every Pokemon game this generation, including a third version.

Hmmm......I must say, I'm interested and appalled. This Gen is missing several things each game before it had, such as: A 3rd legendary story, Ability to rebattle the Gym Leaders, A Battle Frontier, Move Tutors,Touch Screen Key Items, and Following Pokemon. Not to mention the God Stone in the coding of the game, which does nothing but could something in Gray. However, they could just be lying. Regardless, I'll be waiting for whatever comes out next.(I REALLY hope they're lying.:()

You know, Iwata (or someone) said that he doesn't plan on making a 3DSLite. I've seen people speculate that he has said this simply to get people to buy the 3DS and not wait for a reiteration.

This could very well be the same situation.

I don believe it. Think about would GF really be that loose of the tung and let it come out the way it did? And personally i believe if it was true the statement would of been removed from the site(maybe) and the GF employees who gave the statement would get in trouble. And why would they be the one to announce it? would the higer ups done it? Idk im just not convinced , maybe i dont have all the info but i doubt this is true.

Well...they could have been talking about the Main series...but I hope you're right and I'm wrong :)

first gen didn't have that. And unless you count Suicune, second gen didn't either. And if the third game has a third legendary, it would be inconvenient to make up a new Pokémon NOW. But hey, (almost) no one ever saw the Giratina thing coming.​

this too, a quite new thing. Do we already *expect* every game to have it?
