Introductions
Hello! Cyndaquil312 (formerly Pokemonguy1990) here, to bring back my Hack, Pokemon Shoto Saga. Unfortunately, my hack didn?t make it very far last time, before I was overwhelmed and abandoned it. Well, this time, there?s no turning back, I?m going to push as hard as I can to complete my dream of creating a Pokemon game worthy of the most seasoned of trainers.
Goal
I have a goal to reach with this hack, for the longest time, I dreamed of a Pokemon game that was challenging, yet left me unable to put it down. A Pokemon game where I could actually ?Catch ?em All?, So that?s what I want to do with this Hack. A challenging Pokemon game where all the Pokemon are hiding somewhere, the gyms are intimidating, and achieving Pokemon champion actually holds meaning. Alas, it?s not a one-man job, and I?m always looking for ways to improve the game, If you would like to help achieve my goal, feel free to VM or PM me with what you would like to help me with or you can apply to my Hack Team; Porygon Productions.
So, without further ado, I present to you

STORYLINE
The Shoto Isles Region has grown and prospered for many years, the cities and towns have grown naturally alongside nature, leaving the islands in pristine condition, thus allowing hundreds of Pokemon species to thrive. Shoto has recently chosen to adopt the laws of the Indigo Plateau as their own, now known as The Shoto League Charter, and have constructed a series of Gyms across the region, as well as their own Hall Of Champions, Home to the new Shoto Elite.
Professor Redwood, Shoto's Authority on Stone-Based Evolution, calls a professor from a far away region to come and give Pokemon to the first Trainers to officially take on the newly erected Gyms in Shoto.
Since you are old enough according to The Shoto League Charter, you hurriedly rush over to the Lab. Once there you find out that Professor Redwood?s guest is none other than Professor Oak of Kanto! He shows you three pokeballs, each containing a Pokemon that is rare to Shoto.
With your first Pokemon, your backpack, and a dream, you set out to defeat the Gyms of Shoto. So, you say farewell to Gingko Town and set out on an adventure of a lifetime. But before you leave, Professor Redwood warns you of a gang that is slowly tearing into the peace and serenity of the Region.

The Rocket Story:Several years after the fall of Team Rocket in Kanto, and Jhoto, Team Rocket has set up operations in the Shoto Isles under the leadership of a re-invigorated Giovanni. Their evil deeds are worse than ever, and they will stop at nothing to take over all of Shoto so they can execute their worst plan yet.
Giovanni Has sent out Recon Teams to the far away lands of Kanto, Jhoto, and Hoenn in order to bring back the legendary Pokemon of those lands. Giovanni Then orders the Teams to hide away these legends; The birds of Kanto, The Dogs of Jhoto, and Hoenn's Creators, as well as other legends they have found... and created.
Now that Giovanni Has these Pokemon, he sets his plans into action to create the ultimate Pokemon by combining the DNA of all these Pokemon and using the powers of the rare evolution stones found only in Shoto.

The Redwood Papers:
Spoiler:
This series of papers are Professor Redwood's most acclaimed achievement; Proof that Trade Evolution is not necessary for some Pokemon.
March 12:
While exploring the depths of the abandoned Flint Mine, I came across a most peculiar stone; perfectly round, and the color of granite. After a through analysis, I was shocked to discover it held near identical properties to well known evolution stones. Is it possible that this stone could unlock evolutions to Pokemon unknown to the modern world? Or, could link otherwise incompatible Pokemon together?
May 23:
After further exploration of the mines, I discovered several more of these stones, due to their coloring, most of them were discarded as rubble when the mines were in operation. I have begun testing to determine what Pokemon these stones are linked to. I have decided to start with Pokemon that have no current evolution, or are already at the known top of their evolution chains
May 31:
I have tried every possible Pokemon I can find, all I have left is a Magikarp, but his evolution method is already known. Perhaps I was wrong, these stones are either to aide a Pokemon not of this region, or one that has long since disappeared. However, I have sent stones to Professors Oak, Ivy, Elm, Birch, and Rowan, in hopes they may know.
July 10:
The professors have all returned the stones to me, and have unanimously concluded that this stone once evolved a Pokemon that is now extinct, or of one unknown to us. I have decided to put this aside, although I somehow feel I am missing something.
July 27:
I recently attended a seminar on Trade Evolution, where Professor Oak and Professor Elm concluded that Pokemon that evolve when traded actually intake a vast amount of energy given off by the trade process and that the amount of energy taken is nearly equivalent to that of Evolution Stones. Perhaps that is what I'm missing; perhaps this stone is an alternative method of evolution. I am once again going to try as many scenarios as possible, in hopes I will discover something.
July 29:
I've done it! While out in my research field with the granite stone it dawned on me, each stone has properties of the type associated with it, Fire Stone is similar to fire types, Water Stones to Water Types, and so on. And the granite stone has properties of a rock, but there are no known Pokemon of the rock type that don't have an evolution chain. However there are two trade evolutions, Gravler, and Onix, But Onix's evolution gains properties of steel post evolution, leaving Gravler, one of my assistants has gone to capture one, hopefully I?m correct.
August 3:
It Worked! When the Gravler made contact with the Granite stone it evolved in to Golem! The granite stone was not known of before this time, so trade evolution energy became the method of evolution through adaptation of the Pokemon. However, I feel this is not the only stone humans have overlooked, what about the evolutions of Kadrabra, Haunter, and Machoke?
We are already aware of several stones found only here in Shoto, including the Morning Crystal, and Nite Prism, keeping true to Eevee's stone based evolutions (although other methods have been proven by Professors Elm and Rowan.) I will be starting a search immediately, to see if more stones can be discovered.
Professor Redwood later discovered several other stones, as well as additional uses for the known stones, thus proving that trading Pokemon is not necessary to achieve evolution.
