Name: Sindri Nevski
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Legendary: None (If I need one Darkrai if its not taken)
Appearance:
Sindri stands 5 feet 11 inches and has raven black hair. In steep contrast to his dark hair his skin is pale almost looking white especially when contrasted by his black hair and dark robe. He is rather skinny and not muscular at all due to him favoring his psychic abilities over using raw strength. His hair is rather long and comes three inches below his shoulders. Due to being blind his attempts to keep his hair in reasonable length are crude so the edges of his hair are never cut even. He keeps his hair out of the way of his face most of the time revealing his constant smile, and closed eyes
Sindri keeps the same facial expression most of the time: eyes closed, and a large warming smile. He is blind so he barely ever actually opens his eyes. His eyes (if you ever see them) are glazed over with a ghostly white color that make what would be light blue eyes look light grey and strangely alluring. His smile is warm and inviting at first, but over time tends to make people uneasy. Sindri's smile becomes extremely creepy when he is smiling where most would be sad, angry, scared, or disgusted. He will betray his emotions for a second by either dropping the smile or changing it but this usually only happens for a second or two before that same ever persistent smile returns.
For clothing Sindri sticks out in a crowd with his midnight blue (looks black under low light) robe with hood. Around his feet the midnight blue fades to a light blue color in a flame pattern and at the bottom of the robe the blue lightens to a medium blue. This same flame design is also found on the long sleeves that usually hide Sindri's hands. Around the opening of the sleeves and the front opening of the robe is a thin line of gold that has a small "spike" like designs pointing away from the openings. The opening in the front of this oddly made robe has a V shape and it goes all the way down to his waist where the tip of the V ends right as it reaches his sash. The sash is three inches wide and has a navy blue color that fades to a lighter blue as it comes to a small circular gold colored buckle. If you look closely at the buckle you will see some finely etched designs one of which is a pentagram with closed eyes under each point and in the middle what appears to be a much larger eye, but it is closed. Under the robe he wears a black shirt, and vest you normally cannot see that holds his various weapons. Hanging off his belt is a medium sized black leather tome that is locked closed with a strange lock. On the front it has no title but has an emblem of a closed eye surrounded in flames. The key for the tome hangs around his neck and is tucked under his shirt. The only glimpse you get of it is the small gold chain wrapping around his neck.
His clothes are actually imbued in a way to react to his powers and as his powers increase the various closed eyes on his belt, book, and such will open. If he using a vast amount of his strength glowing eyes will start to appear on his robe as he channels vast amounts of power around his body. He can also concentrate a bit of power in one area to "open" an eye at will (usually to mess with someone). For footwear he wears plain black sandals a steep contrast with his overly fancy robe.
"My sacrifice is my flesh and my humanity. Slowly and surely this power is taking those things away from me, and transform me into a monster of unimaginable power…"
Sindri isn't able to fully absorb all the power he drains from others so he found a way to enchant special incarnations on his flesh that hold the excess power. These incarnations are in the form of an ancient and forbidden language that appears as a vast tattoo on his flesh. From a distance the tiny tightly clustered letters look like lines that form an intricate tattoo that wraps around his chest and have begun to twist down his arms. The tattoo looks more like several monsters twisted bird heads with serpent like bodies. They have twisted long skinny scale and feather covered arms with wicked talons reaching out at random locations. Their bodies have random eyes and vicious maws with no order to where they are formed. They all crawl out of a central spot directly over Sindri's heart where the main monster is formed. This central tattoo looks like a vast monstrous mouth with an eye in the middle of it. The monsters crawl out of the mouth escaping it and crawling around the body of their master. Sindri's skin around these tattoos has begun to twist and change as the horrible power corrupts Sindri's very flesh. Strange enough the eye and the serpent bodied lesser monster tattoos slowly move.
These tattoos are always hidden from view behind Sindri's clothes so others will not see Sindri's corruption.
Personality:
Sindri hides his corrupted heart behind a warm smile and a friendly voice. He is very polite and loyal to others most of the time. Beware for this is just a façade to lure you into trusting him too much. However he will sometimes choose an individual to "play" with, and his demeanor towards them will be much different than his normal façade. These individuals he will constantly hound with little insults, or demeaning comments to get a reaction out of them. Hope this satisfies him because if not he will begin to use his abilities to play this his toy's mind trying to slowly drive them into madness.
Behind all the fake friendliness and the fake smile lays a power hungry demon. He seems to have forsaken the real reason he started down this path for power, and is just obsessed with gaining and twisting this power. Not only does he focus all his efforts on gaining more power, but he tries to invent new and more twisted ways to use it.
He gets a sadistic pleasure from destroying others with his powers, whether it's literally or figuratively. He enjoys the destructive power and the raw killing abilities he processes, but even worse is his pleasure derived from destroying one's mind and will. Sindri has learned how to invoke horrible nightmares using a mix of his own twisted mind and warping the minds of others. Along with his telepathic communication skills he will sometimes choose an individual to completely break. He will play and twist their minds until he has had enough "fun" with the poor victim and then he will kill them, or leave them to live on with their shattered mind.
In Sindri's mind others are merely tools to be used, victims to be drained, toys for his amusement, or a faithful servant to help him to his rise to power. He doesn't see anyone as a friend or companion unless they take the role of a slave/servant (which he doesn't have any and likely never will at this rate) if he finds them worthy.
While there might be a little glimmer of good still left in his heart it is surrounded by a choking darkness that will almost impossible to overcome.
(and he is a total Jerkbender... whatever that is suppose to mean)
History:
"So you want to know about my past? I guess this story will be the last thing you hear and since you requested it… I guess I could amuse your last request.
The story starts with an irresponsible teenage trainer who got her worthless self knocked up after a one night stand. She dreamed of becoming a Pokemon champion, but the result of one of her irresponsible action threatened to end that dream. She regretted not aborting the blind baby soon after his birth, but kept it for ooo lets see how long was it… o yes that is right five years. Finally she was fed up with trying to take care of the pale blind mistake so she abandoned him in a strange city and set off on her adventure. You see putting him into an orphanage would be humiliating, and all that paperwork would just be dreadful. Since the woman never told her own son her name and he was blind she reckoned he would never be able to identify her.
So the boy wandered blindly in the streets starving half to death until he was found by the local authorities and then they put him in an orphanage. Life there wasn't much better for the young freak as the other children liked to tease the boy. Of course it didn't help his mother neglected his education so his grasp of language was very limited. However the boy soon learned, despite all his short comings, he had a rather remarkable gift: he was a psychic.
He quickly learned a few tricks to turn the tides on his tormenters, and soon he went from being the victim to being the bully. The faculty soon found out that the boy was impossible to control and his defiant and dangerous attitude grew with his powers. Thankfully orphanage's problem child was adopted before they had to take drastic measures. The man who adopted the boy was named Delnir, and he too was a psychic.
Delnir helped raise the boy and taught him several tricks: one of which was a way to using psychic energy to see. Delnir worked for a circus doing cheap tricks to amuse others for money, and the boy found this disgusting. How could a psychic waste his skills and abilities on amusing normal people for money? Why didn't he try to find better uses for his powers or expand them? At first Delnir tried to convince the boy that this way of life was a good one. It earned a good living and brought happiness to others, but the boy wouldn't listen… deep down he enjoyed the power his abilities gave him over normals. At the age of 13 the boy told Delnir he couldn't tolerate this way of life anymore, and he was leaving to find his own path. Delnir tried to convince the boy to stay but his efforts were in vain so finally he gave the boy a parting gift.
"Take this Ralts, her name is Fircia and she is a psychic like us. She is timid but she is kind. Take care of her and she will take care of you. Her kind are known for their loyalty and for feeling emotions that is why I decided to give you her as your first Pokemon," said Delnir as he handed the boy a pokeball carefully.
The boy looked at the Pokeball and responded, "I don't need a Pokemon… I will become powerful on my own."
Delnir insisted and after a short conversation the boy took the Pokemon, and left. At first the boy mistreated the Ralts, but she continued to be there for him. Her ability to feel his emotions allowed her to find a way to soften the boy's hardened heart. The two became good friends and they spent several years together. They trained, played, and traveled together as a perfect trainer and pokemon duo. After a while it was clear the Pokemon was much stronger than the boy could ever be, and this allowed Fircia to not only protect the boy, but protect others from him.
His ambition was slowly suppressed and his desire for power diminished due to this pokemon, but thankfully that would end with her death. The boy got himself in trouble while trying to fight a Pokemon alone, and ended up on the verge of death. The Gardevoir rushed to his side and began to heal the boy. His life was almost gone and everything was going dark for him. As she sent energy into him something strange happened. The boy grasped at the power entering him like a drowning person grabs his rescuer dragging them down with him as well. The boy desperate to live reached out and pulled the healing power to himself with some strange ability he hadn't known until this minute of desperation. When his survival instincts faded and he regained a normal grasp of his mind he found that the Gardevoir was the one dying. The boy had drained her very life from her, and the last thing she did was smile and tell the boy she was happy he was ok and she was so glad he was her friend. The boy had murdered the only friend he had ever had.
At first he wallowed in misery over his deed, but he then discovered something… he was more powerful than he had ever been before. By draining the pokemon's abilities and life he had strengthened his own. That day he learned a valuable lesson that would change the course of his life: power demands sacrifice. His suppressed desire for power suddenly reemerged and in desperation he came up with the idea if he became powerful enough he would perhaps be able to bring his now dead friend from the grave.
The boy then started to selectively draining pokemon… suppressing the guilt in his heart with the promise of a reunion with Fircia, but slowly over time that last bit of good drained away. He cast aside that original goal of reviving his friend, and sought out true power.
He soon learned that that Psychic types yielded the most power for him, but there was another type of Pokemon he soon discovered gave him a strange twist in his abilities: Riolus and Lucarios. After draining them his powers seemed to better unlock as he learned to integrate "Aura" into his abilities. Thus the Twisting Blue Flame was born, and so was the needed key to unlock further powers. That is why I, the boy in the story, "betrayed" you, Lucario. The more of you "Aura Guardians" I drain the more control I gain over my own Aura and more I can twist the Aura of others.
Power demands sacrifice… and your sacrifice is one of many that will bring me the power I so desire." Said the human that had just betrayed his wounded ally
"When will you stop? When will you have enough power?" asked the dying pokemon with fear and anger in its voice.
"Stop? I never planned on stopping but I guess I could say perhaps I will have enough power when I reach the level of a god," replied Sindri with a twisted smile as he drained the last bit of life out of the wounded Lucario that had tried to help the human survive this zombie outbreak. The zombies were of no concern to Sindri… in fact they were rather helpful since he no longer had to dispose of his victim's bodies. Everyone would just assume they had been killed by the undead monsters…
Weapon Preference:
Sindri uses five long skinny blades with various engravings on them, and a long skinny metal wire attached to one end. He imbues these blades with his psychic abilities an controls them like they are extensions of his own body. Making them attack and defend against other's attacks. Due to his strange twist in abilities these weapons tend to be his best range weapon in most fights especially if he is trying to hide the true nature of his powers. Will often imbue them with focused amount of his psychic energy that he can release at a moment's notice increasing their deadliness but he can only do this once per battle without needing to "recharge" them.
His second weapon is of course his powers. While he can use basic telepathy or telekinesis he prefers using his own unique abilities. His only devoted psychic (not modified by his twisted powers) attack is a "Psychic push" where he gathers psychic energy in a limb in a concentrated amount before almost touching the oppenant and realizing all at once. This sends the target flying away from Sindri a good distance. The initial push can also deal damage if it's focused in a small area.
He has two "mixed" abilities he uses one which requires eye contact. If Sindri establishes eye contract with an enemy he can snake his powers into the enemy's mind "unlocking it" for his use. Usually this allows him to get his victims hellish nightmares, and control some or all of their senses for a short period of time. If he creates a strong enough links to his victim further eye contact will not be required. The scariest part of this ability is that a victim usually never realizes what is happening to them until its already too late. Psychic types can sense a small amount of energy moving from Sindri to his target while it appears to be a telepathic link it can alert a stronger psychic type that something is happening. Aura Guardians can feel their aura being twisted if he is using it on them so Lucarios would instantly be alert to this if Sindri would try to use it on them. (This is a heavily altered version of Dream Eater/Nightmare)
His second mixed ability is his self titled Twisted Blue Flame. He gathers up twisted energy in one hand that appears as a purple and blue flame that he can "throw" at an enemy. The flame induces no pain, but instead burns away the target's life form weakening them. He can control the flames midflight to a limited degree.
Sindri has other abilities he is working on perfecting, but above are his mainly used ones. The life drain can only be used on weakened foes, ones willing to give him their power, and unsuspecting victims he is able to overpower. He doesn't drain humans since he thinks they don't have the type powers pokemon do and his madness has not gone that far yet...
Other:
Sindri is blind and uses pulses of psychic energy like radar. This gives him a 360 degree field of vision around himself, but he can't see things at a vast distance. He can focus on a specific area to search future and in more detail, but it shrinks his "radar's" range.
