I love to save. I have $2,700 leftover from financial aid money and don't even want to spend $60 of that because it feels like too big of a chunk, haha.
My goodness if I had that much money leftover, I would certainly save it for the future, but idk what I would spend it on so thats why I would save it haha

The only thing I could see myself blowing my money on for now is either just lunch (when I want something not in the house), video games (I already bought AC: NL and pre-ordered Pokémon Y just from my report card money), and maybe a gift card from Amazon (to eventually use here on PC)

I am a huge money saver. But only problem is that when it's a considerable amount, my mom take it ;-;

Why would your mom take your money, especially if you're good with saving it? o_O That makes no sense to me.. my mom would take my money away from me just to help me stop spending it!

My mom tries to make me stop spending my money so frequently, but she has never taken any of it. She always tells me "if you run out of money, don't ask me if you want to buy anything because I'm not helping". I guess that is her way of trying to teach me to be a saver not a spender.

My mom is the exact same way with money.. she dislikes it when I ask for whenever I want to go to the store for a drink and tells me to use my own, but I mean, it's under $5 and we're usually in the area anyways >_>

Some moms have little problems that can only be solved by a visit to the local liquor store. Not saying that's the case here, but I knew at least one girl in high school whose mother would take her money so she could buy alcohol since she never had any of her own 'cuz she was a jobless drunk.

Well that escalated quickly!

If my mom tried to take a cut of my money, there's be problems. Good thing she never would/will consider it.

unless she too becomes a jobless drunk

I'm pretty good at saving money, I used to have a bad habit of buying stuff, but as I don't have a job, I can't really spend as much and buy very few things.

Yo, nub. Get out of here. <3

I try to keep my money for as long as possible. Buying an Arizona everyday, though, adds up. >>

I hate spending my money even when I need to. Like my computer might be dying and even though I have the money to spare for a new one, a better one, I still kind of feel like something I buy should last forever just so I never have to spend more money.

I'm at least lucky that nowadays (until I get a job), my mother will provide me with gas money to make sure I don't run out of gas at all when driving. But she only gives me $20 in those cases, and with gas prices on the run, $20 might not help much, especially when my car has a small tank :(

Yeah, I am really lucky that my parents pay for my travel expenses to get to school and back. Although that will change if I get a job, I am going to enjoy it while I can. Luckily my car gets decent gas mileage.

I think mine gets decent mileage, too.. but the problem with mine is that me and my parents think my car has a small gas tank. :/

Yeah, that is usually the case with cars sometimes. I'm not sure how many gallons my car holds, but I can fill up on Monday and it will be enough gas to get me for two weeks almost.

Out of curiosity, what car do you drive? :p that sounds like my car, which is a 2011 Nissan Versa.

And yep, that's mine as well. I can go 2 weeks if I don't do a whole lot of driving but it's usually no less than a week when I have to fill up.
