This is true but according to both PokeBeach and PokeJungle they are the opposite. And I believe Jungle or Beach is actually from japan.

From what I have read, Mega Tyranitar is listed as exlusive to X and Mega Aggron is exclusive to Y. However, sites and leakers have confirmed that Pupitar is in Y and Lairon is in X. Maybe the stones required to mega evolve them has to be traded.

Does anyone know what MegaAggron's ability does?

Also it appears Kecleon has a new ability which allows it to turn into the type of the move it's used...an ability a lot of us have been hoping for it to have for a long time now.

Taken from Marriland: Mega Aggron changes its type to pure Steel-type, gains the ability Filter to reduce the damage Mega Aggron receives by super effective attacks.

Taken from Nintendo-Insider: Mega Aggron seems to be a pure Steel-type now, with the Filter ability that reduced super effective damage by a quarter.

Please tell me that the rumor of y being more dark why x is more commical is fake. I want them to have the same dark story especially since i am getting X.

The stories are the same. The only things that differ are the pokemon.

The difference in story is supposed to be just at the end when you confront Team Flare. Someone said there are three different endings/dialogue paths that can be taken and from what I understand Y is supposed to have a darker path than X due to Yveltal being the destruction Pokemon...that and his Pokedex says when he "died" he steals the souls of living things as he turns into a cocoon.

I actually love it. It's really cool! It seems to keep its Pure Power ability as well.

    Shiny Meowstic looks so angelic

    Spoiler:

I have to agree with you there, I love the gold-yellow color. Also it appears to learn a new move called Disarming Voice. I wonder what that does.

There were more added to that list I think at least 5 more.

I'm searching backwards through NeoGAF now cause I'm going to try and collect them all~

    Spoiler:

I just noticed the one you posted has 2 different US ones....I'm starting to wonder if its not by Location, but rather by the Trainer ID now. Some locations seem to share in a form, so I'm going to guess that its not location based but has something to do with our names, Trainer IDs or some other in game factor. (Kinda like your Colored ability from Phantasy Star)

I'm loving those ones from Hong Kong and the second Japanese one. They look so beautiful! Now I'm hoping some Aussie player who's playing when the games come out here reveals which pattern I'll be getting. Although the theory about forms being based on Trainer ID seems complex. I wonder how they'll calculate it?

    Interesting...different endings.
I wonder if there'll be a way to view what the other endings were after you beat the game.

I'm very disappointed that there are only 69 new Pokémon, if you don't include the Megas. There are very few that I like. Fennekin is my favorite starter, but it's 3rd form might be the worst of the three. Besides that, the only other ones that I like a lot are the male Meowstic, the fossil Pokémon, and Noibat/Noivern. My favorite overall is Tyrunt. I think it's ridiculous that there are only three new legendary Pokémon. Zygarde looks like an aquatic Regi.

Having such a small number of new Pokémon and having such a huge focus on the Megas, which I have grown to dislike with every passing day, are things that are causing me to seriously consider giving up Pokémon. This generation hasn't brought the same excitement that every generation before it had. The graphics look great, but not much else. Gen 5 ended up becoming the best one of them all.

well you dont need to keep make new pokemon all the time they could do this way just let you capture more then 300 pokemon in the game without need action replay and wait for events

Loving the hoenn Pokemon getting some attention again. Not really into megas for the most part (though some designs are cool), but Hoenn is really special to me and I love being able to catch so many babies.

Back to the Vivillon discussion for a bit. I saw someone make a post that there can be 3-5 different Vivillon forms based on the climate on where you live or something. I think that's a bit more complex than the Trainer ID thing, but if true then there is a possibility of 3-5 different Vivillon. I'mma have to catch a lot of Scatterbugs to see what I can evolve them into.

Kinda hoping there is a different way to get specific ones cause my OCD will make me collect them all.

Yeah I see what you mean, maybe the different forms might be a way to encourage more use of the global trading (aka GTS) so you can collect all the different regional wing patterns. And I'm still waiting to see which form me and my Australian cohorts get...

That does sound complex. Personally, I don't think they put that much into it. I think it's just based on the region that your 3DS is set as and even that sounds too complex. Maybe it is just as simple as evolving it in a certain area and time of the game.

I know what you mean. You're looking at a guy that caught all the forms of Unown. I even put them in a separate box and placed them in order.

EDIT: Ok, I just saw a post on a forum by a person in Germany stating that his Vivilion has the colors black, red and yellow. So, I am going to assume that his 3DS was set to Germany in region settings, giving him the colors of the flag of Germany

Well there are currently 2 forms for Japan and 2 for the US that I've seen. Neither of the two countries had a Vivillon that matched the flag colors.
