I think there should be more Eevee-Lutions. I'm happy to see Sylveon in X and Y, but there still needs to be a flying, normal, bug, dragon, ghost, ground, rock, fighting, poison and whatever type comes out in the next gen or gen after that. here are some thoughts on their names:

Evoleon-Normal, looks like Eevee, but bigger, like the other Eevee-Lutions
Whispeon-Flying, dark blue, has large bird like wings on its back
Drageon-Dragon, has a more Dragon like snout and ears
Buzzeon-Bug, Black and White with Bee pattern, and Bee wings
Scareon-Ghost, light purple, more of a ghost/spooky look
Digeon-ground, looks like a rabbit, with feet for burrowing
I don't have any idea for a Poison type.

    What do you think?

  • I disagree. I'm getting pretty tired of seeing those damn things every couple of years.

If you ask me, they should introduce the Dragon-type one (to complete the set of pre-GenIV special types) and call it a day. Considering that (outside the original three) eeveelutions have been introduced in pairs that foil eachother, I'm actually genuinely surprised that they didn't introduce the dragon-type one in XY as Sylveon's foil.

  • I hated the new ones to be honest. I was fine with the first 5 and they went overboard after that.

Also, a Dragon Eevee? That makes no sense O.o

I've always been fond of the name "Alumneon" for a Steel type Eeveeloution.

Also, the card game lacks an "orange" type Eeveeloution but has one for all the other original types (two for water due to ice being lumped in with it), so I'd like to see one that's either Fighting, Ground, or Rock.

  • How many evolutions will they add to Eevee! This will create more confusion for people on what they will evolve their eevee into!

After they passed six they made it difficult to create that perfect Eeveelution team without having to pick and choose. For some reason, that's the only thing that's made me oppose them coming out with more. Guess it's more of a nitpicking thing than anything.

  • I personally thought that the first 5 Eeveelutions were fine and should have stayed that way. Although I'm ok with the new ones, I just kinda think they don't need to exist... If they DO end up making an Eevee of every type... THEN I'll go insane and probably start a 1 page rant about how it shouldn't happen and they shouldn't exist.

*sigh* Seriously though, going past 5 was kinda unnecessary.

  • I don't mind eevee and it's forms, but I hightly doubt they'll complete the element cycle. I kinda thought eevee itself should've been fairy instead of making a new type

  • Much like Golden Warrior, I think after the inclusion of Umbreon and Espeon, they should've stopped making new Eeveelutions. Now that we're already 8/18 of the way to a full set, they might as well go ahead and make the rest of them over the next few generations, and maybe start pushing Eevee as the second official mascot behind Pikachu (it's already one of the most widely known Pokemon as it is).

None of the remaining types really interest me beyond Dragon and Ghost, but I'm sure with 18 different choices of evolution, there'd be a fan base for each of them.

  • I may be one of the few people here, but I don't mind if they make an Eeveelution of every type. Sylveon is really cute in my opinion and I love the Sylveon plush my friend sent me. <3 Hey, it maybe annoying that they keep making them, but it's a neat little concept and tradition of releasing a new one every few generations. Just like we get a early route bird, a early route rodent and an Electric type Pikachu clone every generation. I'm personally waiting for a Flying type Eeveelution the most, but Steal and Dragon type ones as well.

  • I'd love to see new eevolutions! I literally fell in love with Sylveon!!!
A rock-type would be cool. It woluld be bigger than evee, with big hears, dark.brown coat, and a huge tail covered by stones...I'll make a drawing **

I want to see a Ghost, Ground and Steel ones for two reasons:
    - Ghost is an extremely rare type - it's tied with Fairy for rarest, the difference being Fairy is around for one generation, Ghost's been around ever since Gen I. So really, as far as we're churning eeveelutions, might as well make a ghost one. Design won't be too difficult anyway.
    - Ground and Steel should be there to foil Jolteon and Sylveon who currently are the only Eeveelutions without an Eeveelution foil, but this is more of a slight-OCD thing than a proper reasoning speaking.

As for the others I don't really care if they're made or not.

Not gonna lie, Sylveon is probably my favourite Eeveeloution since Jolteon.

I don't think it would be too confusing to add the other types; there's still evolution stones that Eevee doesn't make use of, etc. We don't have a trade-based Eeveeloution yet, either.

Ghost type would be cool (I've seen some pretty neat designs that people have made), although the implications as to how it becomes Ghost.... Oh dear.

Personally, I think it'd be pretty cool if they had given us a ghost Eeveelution. To make Eevee evolve into this Pokémon, perhaps they could force us to train it in a place where ghost-types usually reside, such as a haunted mansion. Either that, or they could make it trade-based; you'd have to make Eevee hold onto Reaper Cloth and trade it with a partner, just like when evolving Dusclops into Dusknoir.

They never base new evolutions on pre-existing stones though. They don't want to explain how a pokemon couldn't evolve with them in previous games when both the pokemon and the stone existed. That's why day/night was used for Johto's eeveelutions and locations for Sinnoh's. Right?

I'd love to see a pure flying type eevoo. Also fighting and dragon and ground, yeah pretty much every time I'd love to see.

I would be more than fine with new eeveelutions, as eevee is one of my favorite pokemon and I always love the evolutions and look forward to seeing new ones. I'll be bummed whenever they quit making new ones, to be honest. I really, really want a flying type, and a ghost type would be sweet.

In a way, Eevee is a gimmicky pokémon. It's already popular and they can introduce new types or new evolution ways by adding new evolutions. Like in gen II and gen VI with Espeon/Umbreon and Sylveon.

So I'm pretty sure Sylveon isn't the last new eevoo we see :3

Same here, I like sylveon but I'd prefer not to see any more. I want to see branch evolutions of other Pokemon like Kangashkan or Gengar.
