The gym leader career seems very interesting, but how will the level cap work? Because is supose I can't just use my lvl 60 milktank in Kate's gym. :$

Also nice that your in game choices affect the people you battle at the tournament, can't wait to compete in it. :)

Last but not least, are there going to be some more TM's available, because my Azradon (I don't know the name xdd) is a special attacker and without the PSS it has 4 special attacking moves, but with the PSS it only hase 2 which are both fire. :$
Maybe you could at a couple TM's in the Great Maze also because most TM's you do get are physical (or is there a TM store I'm aware off. :x)

There isn't a level cap, to my knowledge that kind of thing would require ASM. I don't even really know the ins and outs of this PSS either, I was never even really that interested in it myself, I only implemented it because so many people were asking for it. =P

So I would be able to use my Milktank in the second gym I guesse, there is not much that you need to know about the PSS though, it speaks for it self mostly.
Dragon claw = Physical Dragon Pulse = Special etc etc.

But my Azradon (I think i'm just going to go with this name..) has Flamethrower, Flame Burst, Chrunch and Outrage.
As of now in V2 those are all special attacks, but with the PSS Outrage and Chrunch will turn into Physical attacks.
Even though I still have 152 base attack or something like that, i'd still like to have all 4 Sp. Attacks, that's why I was wondering about the TM's. :P

I just wanted to say that I am extremely impressed by this hack. Just reading the first post tells me that it could well be everything I have wanted in a pokemon game and more. It's notable that you're offering the ability to join a gang and take pokemon from other trainers as merely one of four main paths you can take through the game. Sure, there are hacks that allow you to join one gang or another and take pokemon from other trainers, but I have never once seen a hack that goes so far beyond this concept.

Normally when I see something like this I think 'oh, they bit off more than they can chew, they'll probably give up long before they finish it' but not only have you already made great progress on the hack, but you're still actively posting in this topic as of today to report your progress on the next major version, which is already well underway.

This is just extraordinary. It is exceedingly rare that I find something that looks this awesome. I am so impressed that I don't know what else to say.

  • So, I kind of prepared for the gymleader career and this is what i'm planning on using for being the first gym leader:
Lvl 25 Gligar, lvl 24 Onix and Lvl 34 Larvitar (You can't find larvitar at a lower level so yeah...)

Is this to OP already or just good?

Also, does anyone have have a clue on where to find the Engima* berry i've got the Salac berry and Arbok Poisen but I just don't know where to find the other berry.

*Berry name is probably spelled wrong, but deal with it

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. At times I do feel like I've bitten off more than I can chew, but all I can say for that is that I refuse to let this game join the abyss of un-finished hacks! =)

In your opinion, which alignment is better, good, bad, or neutral (Im good)

They're not really any better or worse than each other, it's all about your own personal preference. Neutral is probably the hardest to achieve since it's really in-between good and bad. The only thing your Alignment affects in beta 2 is which legendary dog you get to battle at the Ruins Of Kala. It's going to affect much more in the future. =)

Gligar will work, but not Onix and Larvitar. The Pokémon you pick must either be pure Ground-type or Primary Ground-type. Secondary Ground-types are not allowed.

Sandshrew, Phanpy, Cubone, Gligar, Trapinch, Rhyhorn, Sandile and Hippopotas are some of the ones which are acceptable. I think there are a couple more, but those are just some I've remembered off the top of my head if that helps =)

Found a bug. If you go to Iron Hollow as a seeker, and talk to Tristan first, then go to the hotel, you can get both the master ball AND the steelix.

Ah that's fine, I guess I'm just going to use Cubone Gligar and Rhyhorn. :)

It's not a bug. It's supposed to be okay for Seekers. =)

  • Speaking of masterballs, Avara (the IG proffesor) mentioned as soon as you get the masterball that, dont quote me on this one!, that this is a prototype and they'll be available in stores soon but for alot of cash.

So, did you think about making them available post-championship or is this just a myth?

(hopefully it lets me comment this time) the yellow Azregadon sprite in the party looks very similar to ho-oh. Is that a bug?

Yes, I've already scripted them to be buyable once you become Champion. =)

It's been reported several times previously and is listed in the first post. Not exactly a bug, just forgot to change the 2nd frame in the menu icon. =)

  • Does Azramadon (The name changes every time I type it I believe, I'm not good with names, that's the only reason I use nicknames on my pokemon. :P) learn any new moves after level 70? I'm pretty sure I got the fire elemantal since it learned Flamethrower and fire blast.
I didn't learn any electric attack though, only powder snow, bite, twister, dragon claw and outrage (up till now).

And most important, If you know where to find the Engima berry required to unlock the breeder career, let me know. <3

Weird. So apparently my last game DID somehow glitch breaking the Crime Career. Not entirely sure what caused it. Maybe doing further main events (such as first visit to Ruins of Kalas) before "Ivy" ..?

Well whatever, this one worked but am also noting I did not take Researcher as Secondary Career… hmmm...

Final movesets haven't been decided yet so it'll barely learn anything after it evolves really. When releasing Version 2 I assumed levels would be around 60 when reaching Finagold Terrace, hence why I didn't focus on it much for that time. =P

It's definitely nothing to do with having Researcher as your secondary Career, neither continuing with main events. I really have no idea what the problem is =/ nobody else has had that bug, haha

I still have the bugged game saves if you'd like a copy to dig through?

    Hey!

I really like the idea of this hack, and I just downloaded it and started playing, but I'm having problems in Clifftop town. Whenever I try to go into the Pokecenter, mart, or the cave to the north, my emulator suddenly quits. I'm sorry if you've answered this already, but do you know what's happening here?

    Thank you!

That might be helpful, maybe I can play through it and try and see if there was something missed?

I'm not sure, a problem with your actual emulator maybe? =/
