  • I follow their commute routes around the region and it sometimes loops in a circle.

    Merry Christmas to you, too.
Monorails, yes. El-Rail trains, yes. Commuter rail passenger trains? No. Too difficult to get sims to use that in droves.

Buses are susceptible to unreliability or transport loops at times anyway.
I've had a couple different goes at projects since then, but, yes, I am working on a new one at the moment. Using the default Timbuktu region as a base.

Do you have pics still or are they toast?

It did. Cities XL was a marked improvement over City Life, but not much of one.
Transportation options and all that jazz.

I developed it quite a bit more, then that computer deaded.

What was it called? And did you post it at other places?

At most Sim City and The Sims related sites my username is djrules5454.
Might be by ancestry. I know for sure I'm 1/4 Dutch and 1/4 Danish, and 1/12 of a bunch of other stuff.

It looks good but not enough gameplay detail for me.

I can't find the main one I had on Simtropolis, which was where most of my pics were. djrules5454_simtropolisedition was my username before I went back the other day and discovered I could change my display name there.
Most I've squeezed in a medium tile was 700,000, I think. I prefer to have the cities interacting with other cities in the region and sharing the load across them. My favorite region had about 1.7 million total with the largest city at 400,000, and several cities over 100,000, and even more over 50,000.

Yes I have. You can find pretty much all of them by Googling "Trimblelina", as they're all related to it in some way.

I have tried Cities XL (the free beta) and it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
I was playing Sim City 4 and must have missed that.

And only 4 Special Dark are allowed in a deck. The Basic Dark can number as many as you want as long as it's no higher than 59 (since you do need at least one basic Pokemon to even play).
I might. I recently got myself a Nintendo 3DS. I got three games with it. There was a deal when you buy two games you will get the third free. And also when you buy the 3DS you will get a $50 gift card. I used the gift card to buy the two games so I can have the third for free.
    わたしがクリスマスのテーマを大好きだからですよ~☆
I thought your back-up account went down with your main account.
Oh and none at the moment, because of the winter break! [img]
Trust me, the house is only pretty at Christmas. It's a drab, soulless, cramped little abode the rest of the year. As far as plants go, not really. I used to keep cacti in my windowsills, but they all eventually died. Plants are strictly for the backyard now.

No other pets, I could easily become someone that has even more cats, though. I have a severe soft spot for stray animals and, well, cats just complement my personality. I don't dislike dogs (although I have a phobia of large dogs), I guess I just value independence over loyalty.

15 is the upper end of the average lifespan, 20 is statistically improbable. Lucky cat. My old cat just has a defeated look in his eyes, his legs and neck are also becoming scrawny while his chest becomes larger as he has congestive heart failure. It's a sad thing to behold, as he's been my constant companion since I was 8.

This particular cat has always been very large but not necessarily fat; just in body structure he's abnormally sturdy and big, bigger than some dog breeds. This was part of his downfall as his greater mass wore him out more quickly...same principle as 2.3+ meter tall people dying early because their hearts can't effectively circulate blood through their body, I suppose.

Fat cats are indeed quite huggable, though. My youngest cat is quite fat, though not from overfeeding. Female cats have a high probability of permanently gaining a lot of weight after being spayed, which happened to this one. She's squishy and just a pleasure to hold and cuddle.

About selling, it's really just games and dvds. Find something at a flea market, pawn shop, or yard sale for an abnormally low price, buy it, hope to sell it for more than what I paid. It's not always fun but I've managed to sustain my hobbies after having no income for a year and a half.
I actually have four cats plus a few that hang around outside, though.....that number is going to be reduced to three soon. My oldest cat, 15, is sadly on death's door. I'll get you pics of my kitties tomorrow, hopefully doing adorable things.

I do use ebay, but only as a last resort when I can't get things to sell on other sites. Not a fan of how high ebay + paypal's fees have become.
I've always had a thing for white Christmas trees. I spent several years accumulating ornaments and I think it's paid off. I have a cat that's hypnotized by the blue LED lights and just stares endlessly at the tree. It's a source of endless amusement.

Yep, that's the room. Sums me up fairly well. Nerd on one end, historian on the other.

Well, that photobucket isn't private for any particular reason. It's actually one I use at another site and is just used for inventory photos for things I'm selling. I support my income by selling used videogames, dvds, etc.
I'd call it pretty, yeah. Here's the tree that I use for my room:

    Spoiler:
We always go all out in decorating. Every room has its own tree.

Feeling kind of bad because I'm totally broke and wasn't able to get anyone anything good this year.
