Argh...this laptop....I had a good reply.....hang....*mutter mutter*
Well I like the ACLU since they are the major balancing power against the right in the litigation front. But yeah the "Happy Holidays" issue, I was conservative about. I just preferred that the stores use the term "Merry Christmas" since it seemed more appropriate (and I was used to it. See I'm flexible on issues outside of Social Welfare and the Environment.)
Lucky, You work hard on your studies now okay? I still have to worry for applying to FAFSA, Grants, Scholarships, Loans, etc. just to fund my College time. Now with the financial crisis....It's going to be hard to graduate in the Class of 2011.
I don't like to admit it, but during the Mid-Term Congressional Election of 2006 I blindly followed my parents and the Republican Party. I was actually conservative on many issues. I was Pro-Life, I believed that the Iraq War was needed, and found gay marriage to be morally wrong. But as I researched the issues even deeper (I think the issue of Climate Change is where the move started happening =P), I formed my own opinions and became more independent in thinking. I gradually moved more left as time passed. The Primaries this year and during the summer accelerated things and made me settle for Center-Left. Please don't make fun of me ok? But I try to be transparent. =/
