  • Thats what i'm hoping. Perhaps interesting things do happen here, I'm just not aware of them.
When I first joined SPPF, I didn't expect anything interesting. But after reading threads from 05', I noticed that SPPF has a pretty interesting past. Filled with demoddings, Criminal behaviour, and some more.
Perhaps i'll find some interestinng threads from the past. Perhaps find old members that were once mods like Chairman Kaga, ect.

I know this is random, but may I send you a friend request?
It is, you can check if you want though I won't really suggest it.
The atmosphere around is a bit different. It has the words "drama" written all over it.
Its also the place where the most well-known people in the Pokemon fandom reside (Most of which came from famed TPM, one of the earliest pokemon forums as well as one of the most popular for its time. Sad that the owner lost complete interest in the site.)
What i'm thinking of doing is stay here longer and hopefully PC will "grow on me."
Its good. Not sure if this is my type of place, but its good enough for me to call "home."
Its just a bit too happy if you know what I mean. I mean, yeah, PC is often considered to be the happiest pokemon forum, but theres not alot of interesting stuff here; so, in a way, its a mirror to that of SSPF.
Happy, peaceful, mods with good reputation, newbies treated with respect, ect.
    Again, the opposite of SPPF.
    Hi there, Aurofire.
I know this is late, but I was thinking of saying thanks for posting in my introduction thread,
I could of have done this earlier, but SPPF kept me busy for a week or so with some old features that came back and stuff ect.
No I know, I read the conversation Graceful had with you. I'm just making a clearly terrible text-based joke. Damn the Mudkipz, they're behind this I just know it...:mudkip^_^:

As for fairness, I'd rather be fairer to the people thinking of sticking around PC, who're here often enough, and to who don't type like n00bcannons. *cough ALEX cough*

    ......alright so 2/3 ain't bad...
That's fine...you're too nice of a coordinator, XD. We're TRYING to get people eliminated, remember!?!?

Hahaha. I'm alright with it, people just need to battle when they have time and stop having bad wifi. That's just rude. I mean, what we're they thinking? Having bad wifi...psh.
That was a bit dramatic, isn't it? I hate when people do that! ... in America!

JK. Well, it may sound cool, but I'm planning on donating an EV-Trained Calm Lugia. Nice Stats, BTW.
Ah, well, there's no worry about that, we can just award him the one BP, I'm sure he won't mind taking down another to reach round two.

No tone, just trying to be clear. XDD JEEZ YOU'RE SO HIGH-STRUNG!!! :P

There's no "5-3" rule; it's an "if you're up by two rule." If there is a disconnection and there is somewhat of a disagreement between the two parties, as in not having a rematch, whoever was up by 2 would be considered the victor.

If of course a match came as close to 2-1 and there was a disconnection, I'd also have to consider awarding the win to the person up (however that 1 Pokemon could be in the midst of sweeping, so who knows? We'll come to that if it rears it's ugly head.)

So yeah, it's an "up by 2" rule, not a specific number. You said it yourself, you were down 4-1 and came back to win. Of course we're disregarding that here: desolation shouldn't have started the match if he truly and honestly "had to go". He could have done what Alex did in a match awhile back, consistently VM'd his opponent and ask for a postponement if he HAD to go.
I'd have to say it does, Gregory. Desolation is guaranteed, (no offense to him) as being one of the newer battlers that comes and goes. If he had a prior engagement, little time to spare, or for any reason shouldn't have been battling/using his DS at the time, then he shouldn't have begun the match.

We had the same situation with Junoliv and Maria; we said Junoliv uploading youtube videos would clearly cause a connection disruption and we awarded the win for Maria. Now that match wasn't worth BP so it was less costly and the good sports that they were ended up rematching anyway. If we go back on that now, we'd have contrasting cases, though. I just don't see the difference between 5-3 and 4-2 or even 3-1. Comebacks can happen anytime, but disconnects where someone doesn't agree to a rematch directly afterward, especially after being the one who was losing, doesn't seem fair.
5-3 he the battle was pretty much in my control.. ( 99 % chance of me winning)

but he claims he had an " emergency", and unless someone just died i dont think anything classifies as emergency >_>

but hey you guys do what you want im about to battle someone else..
hate to bug you but i ran into a problem with a battle i had 2 minutes ago check my 2nd edit to my post in the Rules thread...

just thought i should report XD
Studying on a Friday? If I could cosplay, it would probably be either Gold or Ruby :D XD

    Ok... Smell ya Later!
Oh you don't know? =/ Cosplay = (Costume & Play) The anime/manga/Video Game fandom term for dressing up as a character from a particular series. For example "He's cosplaying as Brendan from Pokemon" =P
