In my opinion Ash losing the Kalos League is enough proof that he will continue in the Anime and I don't believe that Team Flare manipulated the Finals for Alain to win.

If they were to replace Ash they would have done that after Kanto I seriously doubt that Ash will ever be replaced. Ending the anime is more likely.

I agree with you that winning the League doesn't mean his journey ends. I really would like to see him battling the Elite Four in official battles. It would so much raise the ratings if he does unfortunately the Anime Staff don't like that idea for some reason.
