It's obvious, it's crude, it's not good practice. Better (but still not great) would be:

John made an excuse and left the room. Sarah felt that his departure was simply motivated by a reluctance to wash up after himself.

EDIT: I say thought bubble because the thought trains which go into italics tend to be specific and contained, much like a comic's thought bubble.

I can tell you have put a lot of thought into this.

SIDEQUESTS ARE AMAZING. They're like, what make the games awesome. Like the Sevii Islands in FR/LG although they went a very long way. But yeah Wailord seriously no.

I just always thought that Umbreon lacked any real power, tbh. I should be shot for that tho since as a rater etc I should know that it's one of the best team players there is, lol.

Yeah, you're right. Most of the time tbh I don't keep the starter member on, haha. I also dropped either Espeon or Umbreon last time (Umbreon iirc) but not this time around. I wanna keep both. (h)

That was actually my thoughts right then. I literally considered it too much effort to to train up a few levels so I fished until I had multiple shinies instead. ;-; Ah, that's a good point. I guess something like Claydol would have been better? Idk.

I'm trying to decide which of the three Starters I'll use now. I haven't actually used Typhlosion much before, so maybe that one? Idk. Or I could go with Meganium to kill Mirror B with.

I just had a weird mental image of Mirror B trying to catch an afro with a Pokéball.

Yeah, the funny thing is that I didn't even care that they were shiny because I WANTED A WAILORD. Meh, they just picked a random Pokémon that was awkward to get (as i found out) I guess. Relicanth was needed too iirc? That's a pretty random one.

I probably paid extortionate amounts of money for it though, haha. On a side-note, Colosseum arrived after just two days! And I'm going home tomorrow so I'll get to play it and stuff and it'll be good.

Well iitc he used a shadow Voltorb in XD anyway so that might have something to do with it. And a Pokéball. And Mirror B's hair. (still amused at heir)

It's a shame since they were amazing! I have so many awesome memories of Pokémon Ruby. Like trying to fish for Wailord and getting two shiny Wailmers instead, but never a single Wailord. And then realising that I was on the wrong route the whole time, haha.
