I just started replaying Emerald about a week ago, the re-release makes me second guess whether to replay or not, I dunno. I love 3rd gen, real good times associated with it. Happy they're getting a remake, but because they still work with the current gen, I almost wish they would just leave...

I absolutely agree with this, I hope it's more of an expansion, because other than the dead batteries in everyone's games from this gen, there's not really a need for an update. Nintendo is definitely looking to recoup on some losses over the last few years, I hope they don't rush this project...
