It's nice to know there's honor among spriters. Well, mostly. The internet's a big place, I suppose. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot more stealing going on under our noses. I suppose some kind of congratulations are in order though. Someone liked your work enough to steal it.

Yeah, I wasn't very creative about the suction cups (though they might look better in the version I posted in the 'dex thread since it's a lil different) and I see exactly what you see. But it's like I was saying, the whole project should be a little more collaborative. More than just one person suggesting an idea and another person making a sprite.

I suppose I could keep it around until some suitable idea pops up and then rework it to fit that. Hm. Maybe I could even suggest an idea. Hmmmm. Well, I already started on something.

Maybe I will once we've filled our quota and gotten more work done. I dunno, I like it, but it doesn't feel original enough for me. Hence the palette change attempts. I'm already thinking how I could make a better design of it, but I think I'd rather work on other things.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what kind of layout you're going with, but I guess that doesn't matter so much since I don't have any ideas for buttons at the moment either.

I do have this, though. Jumped on the bandwagon, you might say. Just wanted to try out the idea then everyone else beat me to it.

To me Caroteen sounds more like it could go for the basic stage as it sounds like [Carrot] + [Teenie] while Taprunt sounds more intimidating. :>

Line art is the backbone of a sprite. Since I have a few moments I think I'll try some things out again, maybe look at some dinosaur pictures for inspiration.

Beatles hair xD but you're right. I guess I just need a concept to go any further with it. I normally come up with one while I'm scribbling something in Paint and it's enough to get something finished, but I just can't imagine what that sprite would be.

Yellow's such a hard color to work with, but worth it when you get it right.

Eh, the mane was just a rough thing I tried and didn't follow through on so it looked rough and unfinished. Besides, it feels more like a reptile than a mammal so it seemed weird to give it a bunch of fur without going for a major reworking of the sprite.

...not that I'm against that. I just didn't have much time to work on it but I still wanted to show my "progress".

The only things I can actually juggle are scarves. ;) The little hankie kinds, of course.

I didn't do anything to the head because I didn't want to overcrowd it since there's already a fine amount of detail there. I did try giving it a furry look though, trying to give it something like a lion's mane, but it didn't look all that great. I'll still try out a few things and maybe get it to look more like a thing.

I think that the Autumn Snakeason looks good with the head-spike-thing on. And you can add type-specific things to Snakeason. Also, I prefer the duller Spring Snakeason than the brighter one, since the bright colours mostly represent summer.
