I would say it is worth it, but that may be purely personal preference. I have both Platinum and Pearl and have played them both two or three times. Pearl bored me to tears while Platinum I enjoyed (though not immensely). It's very similar to DP, but what third installment in a generation isn't...

I quite like the characters and their eccentricities and development. If the show had no good characters in it then... what would be the point? And of course watching the Pokémon in action is fun.

Is it? I find a lot of Japanese stuff tagged in -shipping format, but then again I don't have access to like... pixiv and such because of the overbearing limits my stepdad put on the internet for some reason. .__.

Whatever works for you, I suppose~ I personally much prefer to watch in Japanese, though I live in the States. Cilan just sounds too much like Sonic in the dub for me to appreciate. ;_; yes I'm still going on about that

The image still has the problems previously mentioned, and I personally wouldn't go with a pure white over black. It's much better than blinding yellow, though. 4/10

I do not know much about Scott Pilgrim, but it looks cool and simple. Minor nitpick with text: there's no space before "Nega-Scott". 7/10
