(I assume that the IRC channel doesn't have logging? I didn't see any log link mentioned in the header the couple times I dropped in. Channel logging is really handy if there's a server/bot available for it.)

Given that trainers seem to simply drop out of any sort of schooling to go adventuring (nor do they show any interest in media - 95% of the time, TVs only show things that Mom/Dad might like), it's actually 100% completely sensible for them to have no basic concept of nearby geography or recent events. In fact, the only unrealistic part of this statement is that it implies the character *does* know that Regma consists of more than just their hometown and Amity :P

Anyway, looking forward to the next release.
