Come on, it's not like you need to be able to read Green to play it nowadays, you're bound to know the story. Yeah I've got Green, it's fun because it's so terrible! It's quite endearing, and some of the sprites are just shocking...

I called my character Dan (my name) and called my rival Robbie (the name of my best friend at the time). Since then I nearly always use Red as my name, and whatever I think of as the "rival" character.

Well the first game I has was Yellow, and I played through it...In a 2 week on holiday I'd beaten the Elite 4 and had a level 94 Pikachu. You have to understand most of my team were in the 70's. But I'd get up, Play Pokemon. Go to the beach till 5/6. Come home, shower, play Pokemon for 3 hours...

I have R/B/Y/G and G/S...and Pokemon TCG all working fine :)

Old team at the beginning was Mankey, Pikachu, Rattata, Pidgey and that was about it. I tended to get them all the level 10 and just blast through. Nowadays, I catch do the following: * Catch Pidgey * Level Pikachu to lv.20 * Fight Brock, and win. * ??? * Profit :)

Red, Blue, Yellow, Yellow again, Gold, Silver and Trading Card Game ;) ahah. I love that game...Missing Crystal unfortunately.

I'll definitely be getting both. I always buy 2/3, be it one of the first two, and then skip the third, or I get one of the first 2, then the 3rd game. This time will definitely be getting black and white, and probably getting my girlfriend a copy of both too, because I'm lovely like that :)
