Yeah, the old plot really didn't fit the game, that's why I decided to scrap it.

Ah ok, I didn't know that, I just balanced out my own in-game economy. XD

I'll send you the design doc later, You can help me out by filling in some plot holes, giving some feedback and ideas.

Wow that surely was original, you should hold on to that idea till got thw skills to start on yournown game.

Sadly though I already have the main character's tale planned out a bit. I'll send you the files tomorrow (im on my phone now and its really late here) the bulbasaur idea is really cool too, you won't get him as a starter though. He's obtainable in an early exploration quest where you have to locate the hidden gardens.

I was thinking about new field moves as well, problem is, they're kinda hard to implement XD.

Anyway, I have an old game thread up, its called fiesta meets freedom. This game is based on that one.

Sweet! It's a Pokemon game alright. XD it doesn't really have a deep and important ot. It's about a group of friends whi dream of glory. (Working title is Pokemon: Dreams of Glory) it differs from the canon gamesbbecause there isn't an evil team ( I've about had it with those). Plus the world is made more interactive like gym leaders occasionally crossing your path, challenging you, giving you quests or teaching you new field moves. The game mainly focuses around questing.

Whahaha it's a dream of mine to work for gamefreak as well XD.

Don't worry about not having any experience, we all had to start somewhere;) I'm working on my own fangame (there isn't a thread yet) if you're willing to help and learn a bit about developing, you're more than welcome to join me.

Hey I just saw you're reaction on being told to use google when you asked about pokemon essentials. Claiming you'd rather used your head 'stead of a tool, you seemed to have missed out on an entire sub-forum beig dedicated to it ;)

Using Google was suggested because we get that same question quite often.

Don't take this as offense though. I hope you check out essentials, it's really helpful when you're planning on making a pokemon game;)
