And I don't know if it should be a club or more of a hangout type thing. A commitment not necessary kinda feel where you could stop in at the club just to play some games every now and then with other members. It would be better that way for members who don't necessarily want to sign up and worry about getting into any roleplaying type stuff but would still like to casually play chess, Scrabble, CAH etc. etc.. Idk, it sounded good when I was thinking about it.

I check in there about every day so that my club doesn't die off completely, but I'm also a terrible DM. I've ran two games and they both ended up being about the difficulty of Dark Souls if it were a tabletop for the players. So I mean, I could run the club and come up with events and whatnot, but other than that I'd just basically be a figurehead.

Sounds good. Functionality would be the easy part, we'd probably start the club off having a CAH event and try and see if we could gather up a few members who are interested in that kind of stuff since it wouldn't just be tabletop but all traditional gaming and then we could gradually get them to play other things. Weekly game nights maybe 2 or 3 times a week, depending on how much people are actually interested in it.

Depends on the area. But still a simple studio apartment already exceeds $1k. But then again I was looking at the more posh West LA area. Last time I checked prices in the less affluent Harbor where I used to live back in 2011, 2 bedrooms already exceeded $1.5k.

But other than that don't really know anyone, though I'm sure we could wrangle in some more here and there after the club creation.

I'd be interested in participating in it, and if nobody else wanted to take responsibility over management of the club I could do it, I don't know that it would look too pretty though.
