Honestly, what you do completely depends on the make-up of your deck. Generally you'll want to lead with either a "wall" or something that has attacks or abilities that help you setup that need to be in the active spot.
Unfortunately, it's a counterfeit that appears to be made entirely out of black plastic with embossed graphics and fonts. Hopefully nothing actually valuable was traded to acquire it.
Did you open the product before you returned it? TCG product is generally not considered refundable if it's been opened, at least in my experience in the USA, no matter where I buy it from.
I've also never had issues with the Pokemon Center, but I don't order things I intend to return from...
The simple answer to what to do is, do you want/need the money more, or would you prefer the nostalgia? A lot of the commons and uncommons (circle and diamond rarities), if they're not 1st Edition or Shadowless, are worth at most about $0.50 apiece (note that I'm American, so I'm using our...
I haven't played MTG in legit 13 years, do you get to choose the cards you send to the bottom of the deck for the London Mulligan?
If you do, that can work with Pokemon, but it's also potentially super broken in Expanded because there are a handful of cards that specifically pull from the...
Sorry to break the news, but it's counterfeit as both icycatelf and Lavender have said. Every single font on the card is incorrect, that particular foil pattern has never been used on a card ever, and the energy symbols are super flat looking compared to what they actually should be.
It's...
In quite a few sets, even the Basic Energy get reverse holo variants, actually.
Other than that, yeah, the reverse holos work as above. Same collector number, just in a foil form.
Best tracker for tracking variants that I've found is tcgcollector.com. Downside to them is that when they...
With this particular card, the type symbol difference is enough to consider it counterfeit. Also, the pictures online don't show it, but it is supposed to have a vertical stripe holo pattern, and that's another tell that you've got a counterfeit, because this particular Serperior only came in...
I collect every card, so I personally sleeve them and put them into card storage boxes after using a collection tracker to log that I have them, since I never know which, if any, will blow up and be a card that's worth $5 instead of $0.20 in 10 years.
