  • Sorry for the late reply. XD; Yes I have heard them before! they're usually songs that love being played on my local radio station so I get to hear a lot of them during the mornings on a school run and as I drive back home. The one song I hear played the most out of the ones you've listed is definitely The Tide Is High by Blondie, overall I'm a bit of a Blondie fan so I definitely don't mind that at all.
    Haha, you do have a point there. I never heard much of Rick Astley other than that one song, so he more of a one-hit wonder than anything else.

    I guess it's because I first heard the "Waterloo" from that song, therefore anything else had has Waterloo in its name always reminds me of the song.

    Same, I do love singing to songs that has that sort of coordination while I'm driving, and it's very difficult to resist singing to them whenever there's somebody else with me in the car...sure they'll give me the odd look or two, but I just love music. XD
    Haven't you? It's been played to death even before the meme came out, can recall having it stuck in my head on many occasions.

    Ah, that probably explains why I haven't heard a lot of Survivor, though watching the video for Is This Love definitely rings a few bells.

    Ah, I love Waterloo as well, in fact I cannot think of the battle of Waterloo or Waterloo Station in London without thinking back to the song itself.

    Haha, I loved that song as a kid as well, the jaunty beat was what got me the most...and the fact that the song starts off with that amusing "ooga ooga ooga ooga jaga" XD
    Ooh, then you should look them up on Youtube when you get the chance, they're classics that are always played on my local radio station, one that plays a lot of older music that I positively adore.

    I don't think I heard any other Survivor songs other than Eye of the Tiger, I might have and probably can't recall the title. A fun fact about Rick Astley is that...I always loved Never Gonna Give You Up since the first time I heard it on the radio when I was a kid, but even after the meme went widespread, I still love the song just as much as I did the first time I heard it. Guess I'm just weird like that, because anybody else who liked the song prior to Rickrolling now despises it because of it. XD;

    Ooh snap, I don't know how I managed to forget Abba either. I still love listening to Gimme Gimme Gimme, Dancing Queen, Lay All Your Love On Me, Angel Eyes and Mamma Mia. XD;

    Yeah I kinda picked 80s songs from the top of my head that I liked, and a few musicians. Phil Collins was the first to come to mind because the first song I named from him was on the radio a while ago.
