  • Just remember that John's biggest strength is how adaptable he is. He'll react to your strategy like the pro he is. But, no doubt, if it's surprising enough, he will be a little freaked by it. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. :)
:D John will be more than happy to oblige. But John isn't going to move on with Earl's training until Earl knocks out at least two of his pokemon. Which means they have to battle soon. Which means Earl will be taunted without mercy. :P
And John needs to unravel the story of his own family, do some training of his own, mess with the HA, collect badges, and discover his sister. I think that would work.
:) That sucks. Well, John may be going off on his own soon. He has his own story to take care of. But... If you wanted to, Earl could be there. I remember you saying something about wanting to go off on your own soon. And, well, after they're done training, John will want to keep moving forward. You know how it is. I leave it up to you. John will continue to travel with Earl if you would like, or he can move on alone. Whick will it be? You don't have to decide right now, but by the time the training is done, then I'll need an answer.
You just said that. :P And I get it. And John may be a badass, but he's always looking to get stronger.
John doesn't want his pokemon to be machines in battle, and he'd delight in showing them how wrong that is. :) But, anything that helps him get stronger. That is the most important thing to him. Because without strength, he won't be able to take care of what he needs to take care of.
Well, they wouldn't tell John that would they? And he's not going to go asking to join. But you forget that John is not a good guy either. He's neutral. All he cares about is getting stronger, his pokemon, Earl (kind of), crushing Israel at every chance he gets, and crushing the HA (and Team Plasma if they try to take his pokemon again.) That's it. That's all he really cares about. And his soon to be discovered sister.
They're pretty cool. John will definately get into a lot of trouble with them. :P He might even join them for a while if you can pull it off right. But, I'm telling you now, that will be very hard, and it will not be permanent.
I knew that Pikachu could learn Grass Knot. But I thought she'd have to be a Raichu before Brick Break could be learned. Anyways, I think Attract would suit Shadow's personality. She'd love using it to mess with people. >_>
Well, Cinder needs a good wind based move, and Tempest already has Flying type covered, so why not? Also, I have no idea what I want Sparky and Shadow to learn. shadow needs to replace Fake Tears, and Sparky, well, she needs some work. Do you have any ideas?
Yeah, probably. Expect John to begin asking Earl to teach moves to his pokemon. I already have one planned for Cinder. It turns out he can learn Ominous Wind.
Don't think the training is done. That was just the first stage. Read my last post to find the details. :P
Well, I am on the east coast. And I don't know what the GM was planning to do after all of us got our tasks done. Each RP character is looking for a legendary of Hoenn to borrow his power to send Celebi back to her home. Other than that, I don't know much about what's going on. The OP will have more info, but I haven't really looked it over in a while.
Also, Andthen, the GM for Saving Celebi hasn't been online since August 7. It's August 19 where I'm at.
