  • Really? You think I'm getting better? That's cool. And I've been looking, but the GM hasn't been on in forever. I'll have to see how long.
lol. I'll go check it out, sooner or later. I must say, I didn't expect to hear that. I know I still need a little work, but I'm getting better. One thing I've always been good at is making characters. And Cobalt really did do all that in Saving Celebi. :D He's a good dog. It's a shame the GM hasn't been seen for a while. :\
I am new. I just started a few weeks ago. I've been getting better as time goes on, but I am still learning. I'll tell you which characters go where.

Brian is in The Pokemon Trainer Academy. It's just what the name says. He's my first character, and probably my favorite, after John and Cobalt. I have a lot of fun writing for him, because he's so much younger than the other characters. He is very outgoing and friendly. He has a lot of childish fears, like bugs, ghosts, girls, and a great deal more that I don't feel like getting into. But when things get tough for his friends, he gives it his best. Although that usually leads to him needed help too. He is the weakest trainer in the RP, and it shows. His battles are clumsy and he doesn't know what a lot of moves do.

I think I'll give you all of Cobalt's story. He is my main character in Saving Celebi. He was born just north of Little Root Town from a Mightyena and a Houndoom. As such he knows the Egg Move Fire Fang. Which he puts to good use. He and his litter mates got infected with some puppy virus, and he's the only one that survived. When he was young, he got seperated from his pack for a few days and had to hunt and kill a Teddiursa just to live. The event caused him to have a great fear of being eaten, and he hates meat. When he was found, the Denmothers started teaching him to take care of other puppies. But, he was so big and strong compared to the newborns that he actually killed one on accident. He didn't, and still doesn't, understand about death. He ran away after a trainer almost caught him, and that's how he ended up at the starting place for the RP. He is very timid, until his Mightyena Instincts kick in. Then he's a typical, bite your head off attack dog. This led him to take over a pack of wild Mightyena, kill a Kecleon serial killer, stare down a pair of Vigoroth that were going to kill him and another RP character, and most recently, chew a hole through a fence to avoid cannibal Zigzagoon. He is traveling with another RP character. Think John for how he acts. This other character is a genius, but he knows nothing about child care. And he sort of adopted a baby Zorua. Cobalt is like her big brother now, as well as her Denmother. He has said, and will do it too, that if the Zorua's father ever hurts her, he'll kill him. And that was Cobalt talking, not his instincts. He's very protective of pups, which is something he was trained to be. And everytime someone uses a word that is more than three syllables, Cobalt asks what it means. Every time. But once he grasps a concept, he retains it very well. A trait that annoys his traveling companions.

Lillia is my second character from that same RP. I haven't had much time to go into her developement yet, as I just started her. But she has some very odd quirks. Like don't walk into her house. It's a danger zone. And her heart is very large. She refused to fight a trainer because his pokemon was only doing his job. She has a fascination with shiny things, and almost wants to be with a human. She's sort of looking after a subcharacter that was created as a result of an RP character's escape from a trainer. That same character freed the rest of the pokemon and left them to die in the woods. Yeah, he was that messed up. But, the other ones were once wild, so they are fine. But the one Lillia is looking after is not wild. She was born from an egg that a human had.

Edward is from Legendary Evolution. He was raised in foster care and ignored. It was this reason that Articuno choose him to house his spirit after he was thrown out of his body. (Don't ask, it would take to long to explain) Edward is slowly losing his humanity, something that Articuno doesn't want. But Edward is fine with it. I'll explore that plot more as the RP goes on. But, the RP just started, so I haven't done much developement.

Thomas is from The Children Are hunted. He is one of five chosen ones. He is the Leader. He's the one that will bring them all together, and he's doing just that. He's already friends with four of them. So, in that regard, you can expect a little Gary Stuishness out of him. He's basically a hero. He knew what he had to do, and he's doing it. Not much I can really say here. But he's pretty fun to play. He has some odd things about him. Like the fact that half of his current pokemon are stolen, even his starter. But he stole them from the bad guys. In this world, people are starting to develope pokemon-like powers. He got light. So, not a whole lot to say about Thomas.

Joey is more of the same. He's from Teen Heroes. He's a practical joker and a goofball. He's also a bit of a womanizer, but he's fallen madly in love with an RP character. He's very talented, and quite charming and friendly, which has seemingly made everyone else cluster around him. And he enjoys the attention. It causes him to show off, especially for his girl. This showboating has attracted the ire of an RP character with similar powers as him. But this one has just started, so I haven't been able to develope Joey that much.

Kyle is from that same RP. He came back from the future just to teach at the school. Because the history books said he did so. He may have the body of a twelve year old, which was when his powers manifested themselves, but that doesn't slow him down. He was a child prodigy, and has developed quite a superior air about him. And that's about all I can say.

Does that shed a little more light on my charcters?
Hmm... I just realized I have a lot of RPs... Let me think of all the diffferent characters I have. You're going to laugh at a few of them.

Brian: the clumsy boy that understands every word pokemon are saying. He is terrible at battling, but has a real gift for healing. Also of note would be Thyme, his Snivy. She is a lot like John, only she makes up for it by having a little care and compassion for Brian and the rest of his pokemon.

Cobalt: The retarded Mightyena. Need I say more? His mind is always like a puppy's. And he's very stupid.

Dia: You know her already. She will get a bit more developement soon.

Edward: He houses Articuno's spirit and is far colder than the legendary bird of ice. But underneath all that frost beats a lonely heart.

Lillia: The Zigzagoon hoarder. She's got a kind heart. And a lot of junk. She carries around a purse filled with old newspaper clippings, that she can't read, potion; that she can't use, and flea spray that she uses to make her coat shiny.

Joey: A teenager with the ability to control fire. He's good natured and is somehow very popular. He's even made a very powerful enemy, for no apparent reason.

Kyle: A time bending adult trpped in the body of a child. He is very touchy about his body, his paintings, his rules, just about everything actually. He teaches at a school for the gifted. Think X-Men

Thomas: A skilled light user. He's your somewhat Gary Stuish hero. But under that all, he's under a lot of strain. He could finally snap. Or, perhaps not. Also of note is Esper, the espeon with the awesome ability to break the fourth wall.

And that's not counting the sub characters I have. What do you think of them all?
Of course not! lol, John calls Earl his friend now too. Even if it makes him sick to say it. He hates the idea that he has friends. :P
lol. That's the first I've ever had someone mispell my name. But Nido is a fine nickname. I kind of like it. And as for John and Israel, John doesn't hate him. He wants him to get stronger so he can provide a decent challenge, so he pushs him and pushs him until he either breaks, or he snaps. And when he snaps, he gets better. John is the same way. But I'm glad that Earl and John are on the same side. :D
lol. It's no big deal os and us sound similar enough. I thought because you started calling me Nido that you were saying Nide-o not Nid-o. Or were you saying Nide-o? I'm so confused! :P
No, I fully understand. I hate it when people get my name wrong. Incidentally, it's pronounced Nid-E-us, not Nide-us. Does that make sense?
No problem! I'll modify my sig. Welcome to the fold. >_> Nah, I'm messing with you. :D But really, thanks man!

Yeah, I've seen Gladiators and it looks interesting but I might want to just be in one roleplay at a time, I'll think about it though.
Yeah. Anyways, I've been meaning to ask this a while, but we haven't been on at the same time to do so. Would you like to join my PC family? And if so, which pokemon would you be?
Actually, I think Dia well adapt really well to this new world. Depends on what happens in the story I guess. *shrugs*
Lol, Dia is another character that is fun to play, in a morbid kind of way. I've never played anyone that's borderline suicidal before. :/ Anyways, I'm glad that everything went ok.
