I agree with you- government has real authority. But as soon as respect is lost for the authority, they can try to have authority through increased force, but its certainly not true authority. Dont get me wrong- democracy is the best form of government (not great, but the best), and there is a high correlation between more freedom and democracy. At least with democracy, there can be the possibility of change.
I give myself my own standards for morality, but in terms of legality, as long as it does not impede on one's self-ownership or property, I am fine with it. Basically force = immoral (except in cases of self defense). In my opinion, everything comes down to property rights.
Make sure you read Doubt carefully because its tricky (then again, I was reading it like 1 in the morning on Halloween). I want to reread it to see if I can find any settle hints that I missed. So far Judge is great! So far, Judge is less creepy than Doubt, but just as tense and mysterious.
I still haven't watched ch 11 and 12 of volume 3... I really need to lol. I have been super busy the past 5 or so days with little free time (i had enough to read a bit, but no internet for the most part). Prepare yourself with akama ga kill haha.
I am scared of getting anxiety attacks. I despise even the thought of them. the teacher promised me he wouldnt tell anyone and would still treat me equally, which I am very thankful for.
