Yeah, I noticed it too, but it doesn't bother me. You have much stranger things in pokemon anime/manga/games. For example all pokemon nurses and officers, not only that they have the same names, they even look the same(maybe the tehnology in pkmn world is so advanced that they can clone ppl now...

I guess, a little, but just to some pokemon. I remeber I did get attached to Blaziken in Ruby and to Grudon too. But the attachement wasn't that strong really. Like, when I finished the game and my bro restarted it, I wasn't sad or sth because I lost all pkmn.
