  • Nah, I'm always sick. x]

Oh, they're coming out with solar charged cars.. lol. I will hunt you down.

Ew, I receive 30 now. It's very unpleasant to come to a pile of messages. D:

When's the last time I been on any forum but here? @_@

    Sure?
Funny, I never saw any more harm in calling it a Gameboy than I did in calling humans "mankind". Names are words anyway, and what's important is how you interpret it. Besides, when I was a girl, I'm pretty sure more boys (at least in my age group), did play video games than girls. In fact, while it's a little annoying, I did mention that one choice for hackers and game developers was to remove the option to change your gender. And for some games, that's the best thing to do. Even though I did wonder once when I was younger about why so many people used words like "mankind" and "gameboy". ^^ I don't get so fussed about it now.

I've been to Wyoming before once. That time I went by plane, and quite unfortunately I had to stay for a month. It was very pretty, but... meh. I didn't like the way they ran things over there (my relatives that we were staying with, and will be staying with this time also).

I never said you should do what I'm doing with SotW in your game. ^^ For most games, your approach probably would be the best. But for the feel that I'm going for, that's why I'm doing what I am, including leaving Gym Leader's levels about the same. People can choose to use new Pokemon if they want that challenge, after all. It really ties in with the idea of player choice very nicely, which is a big thing in my game, remember.

Boat is the major transportation. If I include Kanto as well as Johto, I will probably also allow the player to take the Magnet Train between the two.

I have to be honest and say that I'm not sure what to say about the maps. Not that they're bad at all - they seem very good to me, which may be why I'm at a loss for words. People who know me could tell you that my first instinct when looking over something is to look for things that could be done better, and that I tend to be a little sparing with compliments. Of course, it also helps your case that they're so big I really can't bother myself to look closely enough to find any little things that might have been accidentally messed up... >.<" I mean, do you know how much time that would take? DX I don't really mean anything by it, of course, but that's the way I am. I am just the kind of person who can find something wrong with just about anything. And also, strangely, the kind of person who can find something nice to say about just about anyone.
    Usually it's not normal to switch what you call people. Even if you changed your name to something more personal, I'd probly still call you Hof. Or Hoffie. You could really get your name changed to Emperor of Hoffland if you wanted, I think it would be funny. xD;;

    |D;; I'm not getting anywhere near perfect scores on those tests, so it depends on an interview, and thankfully art school are more lenient on academic scoring.

It is hard for judges to be unbiased, but also most of the time judges are not on a personal level with the people in the contest. This is why the most respected people are put to be judges. I was not respected by OB because I didn't have a higher place than her, so she thought it was fine to get very upset over my thoughts. If it was a senior in her career she wouldn't dare say a word. Also, this is why judging is normally specified. At first I was not going to post my individual thoughts, but I had wrote them down to organize my thoughts and I thought everyone deserved to know why I felt that way.
The splicing contest makes me unsure if I should do that again, but it's like the AP test. I got a 1 on my Chem, and I really want to know what I got wrong, but they don't send you information like that. I feel like the test was pointless if I can't learn from my mistakes.
Find. How would you like to help me with a hack I'm going to be making off of Heart Gold and Soul Silver? It's supposed to be a remake of the Yellow Version.
No no no, nothing like Spey. Paranoid =/= Autism. I've always understood the feelings and the reasoning of people. I would guess that I would be severely effected by other people's emotions and be afraid to do things because of the infinitely possible negative outcomes.

The judges all have different standards, but there are trends that always seem to show. Safe bets, perhaps.

I would travel to either SCAD or RMCAD for an interview as they are my top two choices. Memphis is close so I could go to interview there.

Yeah, they would probably say VT. I guess I would be okay with that, or just tell them Rica will work. I would say I don't like using initials of things but I use HoF. The thing is though is that now it really is "HoF" to me, not "Short for Hall of Famer". (I actually do say "Ha-off", but strewn together.)
^^" Haha, I didn't reply to your last one, huh. So I thought I'd mention - Nintendo (now that they added the female characters) have been pretty good about using gender-neutral language, and about not calling the female player a boy. It's fangames and hacks that forget to do it. I'm hoping not to be guilty of - well, the reverse, really, since I always play as a girl... XD I don't think I will, but mistakes do happen...

Anyway, back to the question at hand... the answer to which is probably much less interesting. XD

Basically? I'm okay. Not really good or bad, particularly. I've been packing because we're leaving for Wyoming on the 22nd (by car, but it is only two states away - according to my brother it is a 12 hour drive). I don't necessarily want to go, but I feel I should, so... Of course, I love packing for some reason, so it's not like it's all bad.

Oh, randomly, to address the issue with levels of Pokémon when you have several regions in the game. I'm going for a certain amount of realism, and not forcing the player into things, which means it will be perfectly okay for the player to take their level 100 Alaccian Pokémon wherever they want. It will be up to them to choose whether to train a different set of Pokémon in different regions or not.

I also don't know whether I'm giving access to any other regions before the player beats the league (and I don't know, but I'm secretly hoping to have all four of the official regions - still, I promise nothing). If I gave access to only one other region before the league, it would of course be Johto, because of the player's parents.

Arriving in different regions is all by boat, so the player will sail from Port City to Olivine, Vermillion, Lilycove, and Sunyshore (which looks a lot more like a port than Snowpoint - I think only the Battle Zone ferry sails from Snowpoint...). That means that it's also a good thing to have trained Pokémon with you when you arrive, because you don't arrive in the starting town. Of course, I might make the levels of Trainers' Pokémon less predictable in the other regions, too... Gym Leaders of other regions would stay about the same levels as they were in the original Nintendo games, though.

^^" Hehe, probably shouldn't actually say all this, especially since I'm not even sure how much will be going in the game, but I don't really have that many people to ping my ideas off of...
Cool. I'm on the fence about Agito, but I want XIII and versus XIII, since versus XIII will play like a slightly more realistic version of Kingdom Hearts.
