First shiny was in Diamond right outside of battle frontier place, a Raticate. It is still hibernating in my PC box. Then a Golbat hibernating as well. And my gyarados red and pichu now Raichu.

one of the rooms which you can get to from the Union Cave, the wall will say water. You just need a water stone in your inventory i believe
