I finally fixed my World of Warcraft after 2 years and I got so excited that was the only thing I was doing on the PC for about 3 weeks LOL.

Oh okay. I expected the more traditional view of nirvana actually -- liberation from the suffering that is the endless cycle of reincarnations (who would enjoy becoming a plant). I've never actually met a Buddhist who doesn't believe in reincarnation.

Buddhism is definitely an enlightening religion though. I like how it sort of requires its followers to be active and open, and not just believe in certain doctrines. I know a former Catholic friend who left the Church for Buddhism because it greatly answers the cause of suffering. My community members were shocked of course. The last time I heard of her was when she celebrated Buddha's birthday.

Bodhicitta is actually a Mahayana teaching... so I take my statement on your beliefs aligning with Therevada back. xD

But if you don't believe in reincarnation and samsara, how do you believe can you achieve nirvana?

Oh I see. Your beliefs match up more with Therevada Buddhism than Mahayana though. Maybe you should look on it more. How did you become Buddhist anyway?

What do you find hypocritical, reincarnation or the "mental energy" thing? I actually haven't heard of the "mental energy" interpretation yet. It doesn't really make sense to me.
