The OCX files are preventing A-Text from working, can you help with that?

Someone else told me that, but how do I do that? Please say how.

I'm trying to make a Pokemon Emerald hack but can't find a good way to edit the text. I have no idea how to use a hex editor to do it and the only tool I can find for it (Advance Text) doesn't work and a lot of people say that it's not very good. Can someone help out here?

Honestly I (who is not a competitive battler, by the way) don't find any of the AI battles in Pokemon hard, including Red. High levels, good movesets- he's just an NPC. Give me those Pokemon and I could kick some butt.

Floaroma Meadow as way back when I played Diamond as my first Pokemon game I used to think for some reason that it alternated between being and not being in the game (yeah weird I know) so that place always reminds me of that :P Distortion World looks awesome though- but it's not in Sinnoh.

I actually got HG because I didn't know you could get both in each version and I like Ho-Oh a lot better (then again I like Kyogre over Groudon and Xaernas over Yvetal) so I got Ho-Oh first.

I've never seen a shiny, but I always tip 1000 because I read the rumor on the TVtropes Urban Legend of Zelda page before I even got the game. Still, 0.02% is too high. It makes moments like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlF_RxM-_D4 less amazing.

I'm getting Alpha. I like Kyogre more than Groudon, I like stopping Team Aqua more than Team Magma, etc. Something feels wrong here. I got Sapphire instead of Ruby, and White instead of Black. So now I go for X and.... boom, everyone loves Y because of Yvetal. And I'm inevitably getting AS.

I think it would be cool if drastic changes were made to their teams after enough rematches (ultra-high-leveled pokemon, more pokemon on their team, actually tough movesets, actually worth fighting)

Honestly in Kanto the difficulty of each Gym Leader really depends on your team more than any other region. Bulbasaur and Squirtle make quick work of Brock but don't even try with Charmander- Misty is a nightmare with Squirtle or Charmander but luckily you can get Pikachu in the Viridian forest...

I would go with Emerald. Overall better than R/S IMO, FR/LG are okay but I much prefer Hoenn over Kanto (sorry guys...)
