Legendary Silke

I found a Windows 8 VM on my Mac that I had forgotten was there. I was cleaning up to get my Time Machine backup to fit onto an external drive in case my Mountain Lion Upgrade goes belly up.

Backup: 35GB/186GB. 5 hours remaining. :( I'll have to leave it overnight and do the upgrade at work tomorrow.

It wasn't new when I bought it; it was second hand (couldn't afford a new one). I've already replaced the battery twice, since the first one was faulty, and it was half-charged, plus I did a few battery cycles before using it for real. Also I don't think the battery life on the 2008 models are 7 hours... more like 5, or 3 if I run it on High Performance mode.

With VMs, I tend to use Virtualbox. Because it's free and doesn't try to integrate with the host OS as much as some others.

It did. :P I forgot to charge it and then I had to go out. Rather abrupt exit though.

I've still got it yeah, but I don't use it anymore. I've got a MacBook Pro. ^^ Need it for my film work.

Fair enough. iOS 5 is a little sluggish on the iPhone 4, but it's not too bad.

Well, the way you always jump on the new shiz, the alternative stuff - like Mac, for instance. You say you've been with Pokémon since the beginning, but base you're entire internets existence off of a fourth-generation Pokémon. (Gen III fan myself, but tagged Pikachu as a good site mascot, etc).

Always deriving from the mainstream, you are a mystery dungeon kind of guy. It's never heard of any 16x16 grid, it has no humans, and was started with a pair on two different platforms. If that's not alternative, I don't know what is.



And about that Chinese pop stuff... I like American pop - you know Ke$ha, Pitbull, Lady Gaga, all that materialistic shiz that they make... and I say if you like pop, you must have a remote taste for this legendary piece of work.

I'm in no hurry. I'll download it at work on Saturday to save myself 4GB of download quota. Then I'll either try it on an external HDD or swap my HDD for a test run. There are a few things that I'm interested in, but also a bunch of features I don't care for.
