I replayed Gen I this year as well, I have to be honest that the Special stat is overwhelming and the lack of move categorize makes the whole thing difficult as well!

There won't be such tips in a Flying-type Club! {XD} If there's anything about Skyla and other Flying-type Gym leaders, it should be how to protect them from being knock down! {XD} It works exactly the same as the Psychic-type Club you're so familiar with -- normally there won't be walkthrough and helps for certain Gym Leaders, unless there was an existing topic, which further extends us -- such discussion are widely welcomed. ;)

Perhaps the mother was working there only a year or two ago prior the protagonist's adventure. :) Or it could be that she was appointed as a leader at the age of 13 and she's now around 23.~ {XD} Just my two cent. ;)

My current team are 2 Kirlia, supposedly one's evolving into Gardevoir and the male becomes a Gallade. But they are going to be replaced by Abra, Meditite and Gothorita.

I'm fine with losing from Dark, Bugs, Ghost or even Steel for obvious reasons! But getting knocked out by a Brawly and Roxie isn't cool at all, not to mention it's continuous not once nor twice. Not gonna lie the loses are really discouraging.
