Well, you've got 3 options. You can ask me to put it in so Lincoln can find it, have Lincoln wind up getting an egg of a Rhyhorn instead, or not get one at all. o_o

Uuum, no. Well, there are multiple species of pokemon that aren't present on the island A Rhyhorn could be added to an area, I suppose. It really depends on whether people really want them on the island.

Well, Daniel himself hasn't been thinking about it. I'm sort of planning to have him go into the shop and going 'Oh my god, we've -got- to have this move' or something along those lines xP

It's honestly a really awesome idea. Daniel won't have that much money with him, but I've made Alexis so she's got two 'open spaces' for moves to learn, most likely via a TM of some sort he may be able to buy in the shop in town. Unsure what her new moves would be though.

Oh man, that's a brilliant idea! Kind of reminds me of a comic where one of the guys in it is a modern day version of Hercules. His father would give him a task, without any real direction. It wold be something vague, and he had to find out the meaning of it on his own.

And only once his first task was completed, could he get the second. Super idea ^^

I'm going to say that Daniel got three empty ones with the starting package. But this just opens up the possibility of heading to the nearby town to check it out! Or at least the shop within the academy, which is most likely overpriced xP

Well, I haven't really got any plans for him! I'm not even sure if he's going to be catching anymore Pokémon... though he may, if one strikes him as particularly awesome :P

But no, not planning on having him as an electric specialist per se. He might be, but, I like to leave things to chance ^^
