  • Its possible for both major(tileset 1) and secondary(tileset 2), I just disabled it for now. Since, theres no proper documentation and people will be asking this and that :(
Yup. I improved it :) I didn't plan on releasing it yet XD There's still support to add for Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald. Its finished if there wasn't FR/LG/E lol, but if you have any cool ideas - feel free to share hehe.

Thanks, you've been really nice. You know, I have Ruby so I always try to make it supported first but in graphics Fire Red is nice ^^
That is part of one of my old tilesets, but sadly I dont have them anymore. They were made on an old computer and that's all thats left.
Hmmmm... that's weird. You might have your offset off. If it isn't, then I really don't know. If that happened to me I'd probably just reinsert the track and make sure I didn't screw something up.

To be honest, sometimes I mess up on the repeat because I change a 0x1B byte rather than a 0xB1 byte. Ugh, I honestly don't know. I'd go through everything and make sure it all lines up, that's all I'd say.
You'd be much better off PMing MM_X, since he wrote it. If he doesn't want to help send me another message and I'll take a look at it.
End of the track, NOT the song data (with the pointers). Is that you're problem? What you're pointer should lead to should start with a 0xBC byte. Sorry that I didn't clarify that.
    yup in ruby its possible
but im just hacking fr so...

lof is going slow, i got no time for hacking
i return from school at 4pm and then i usually hang out with my gf
since im sick atm, i have some time to work on my tut cause i dont have to go to the school :p
maybe in the holidays ill have some time
Dude, I wouldn't worry about space. Even in Emerald, there's a ton of space for new songs.

Anyways, what you want to do is at the end of a song, place a 0xB2 byte, followed by your offset, then end it with a 0xB1. If you want to jump to another part of a song (like if you have an intro to a song, like a battle theme), use a 0xB3 byte followed by your offset. I'm not sure if you need the 0xB1 but put it in there to be safe. BTW, 0xB1 is the stop command.
Without modifying the game code it is impossible to use a tileset with the same size as Fire Red AFAIK, cause the last time I tried it screwed up my ROM real bad.

Uhm, on the different musics, I still haven't had time to search... sorry.
Uhm, you could decrypt the gameshark code for enabling the National Dex(finding which memory address it writes to) and then using command 11 "writebytetooffset" to copy it.
Ah, sorry for not replying earlier... I forgot :( Anyway, the problem lies in the variable offset, the one with variable return or something. Uhm, BTW. I'm glad you liked it, I'm waiting for thethethethe for lesson 3 so look out for that ;)

Edit: BTW, I forgot to mention that ruby's variables never go upto 0x7000, maybe 0x6000 but I'm not too sure. But, I know 0x5000s is your best bet :P
