The 3DS has been available for close to two years in North America, and considering Diamond / Pearl came out nearly two years after the DS' launch, it's about time a new Pokémon generation arrived on the former. I'd rather go for Hoenn. As much as I love Kanto, not only has it been featured in two remakes thus far, but the second remake is still fairly recent and available. Meanwhile, Hoenn's been restricted to R/S/E.

I'm gonna have to go with FireRed and LeafGreen. I love R/S/E, but if you ask me, FR/LG are much more polished. Plus, I kinda prefer Kanto to Hoenn. :P
