  • LTGY was pretty unfair imo with all the Dragons, but I didn't exactly play in that era lol.

And I should be free any time tonight, so just let me know!
I saw one guy yesterday with like 40 copies of Rescue Hamster. Not sure if he's thinking it's gonna hit a price increase or..?

Yeah it's weird how power creep is a thing. It makes me wonder why they don't bring back stuff like x3 Moralltach and maybe semi-limit the Dragon Rulers to get more diversity in the game.

And yeah I'd love to. I actually want to test my Jackpot 7 deck some more haha, but I do have some other stuff too I'm testing out, assuming OCG is fair game? I'm actually coming off of spring break, so I gotta get up early tomorrow lol, but tomorrow night I should be free, so let me know.
I personally haven't looked at any of them yet lol, but I heard Rescue Hamster's a thing?

And yeah I'd love to see that guy's deck and how he beat Nekroz in not one, but two games haha.

And I'm not sure about Nationals, I want to say it's also $20, but I'd have to check. And then there's like travel and stuff. Last year would've been the year to go, it was held near my hometown. But I just had to get back into Yugioh this year lol.
Dark Law hurts the meta to an extent yeah. But I'm talking Emptiness and tons of backrow and stuff to stop searching etc. Although I can't say Yosenju is anti-meta, with its sheer numbers are we calling it meta now lol?

I'm thinking all the Secret Forces decks are going to survive the banlist, at least for awhile. As for time itself, well I haven't heard too much of any new archetypes that are going to take over anytime soon, except Igknights? Idk if I'm even spelling that right, I just now there's some hype around them.

And some Nekroz guy I was talking to yesterday actually lost to Shadoll-Exodia, which is apparently a thing? But yeah Jackpot 7 is pretty decent in testing, and more reason to bring back Heavy lol.

The fee is $20, but you get 5 packs of the latest core set. So I like to say it costs me that much to buy cards anyways, then I get to play for free lol.
The thing about Yosenju, is it's a lot like Cloudians in a sense, pretty anti-meta, no big boss monsters, etc. So it's a lot like a deck I would've played, just not sure why so many people brought them. In regards to Qli, they're still pretty fresh, not sure why I expected lower numbers of them lol.

And I wasn't aware of any Gem-Knight support, got them mixed up with the ocg-exclusive Crystal Beast stuff for a sec. Oh yeah, Secrets of Eternity brought Lapis/Lazuli/whatever it's called lol, so that's TCG now.

But yeah it was a good experience. I think I've had quite enough of Cloudians for now, especially since I said I'd lay them down when Ritual Beasts were released. I'm the Cloudian person now though, so I might have to pull them out every now and then haha. And while it is true that you learn more each time, I think with Cloudians there's a certain limit, and as formats change, certain deck types are better choices to combat the meta.

And I believe that's it for the regionals in my state for this season, there were like two in October/November, and then one more yesterday. So to get an invite to nationals, it's not entirely impossible, especially when there's maybe like a hundred other regionals around the country during the year (if you want to travel, and apparently people traveled hours to get to this one). I just think it'd be really cool to play nats once. Now assuming I don't play meta, next year (since I'd like to go back) I'm going to have to get pretty good with Spirit Beasts or something else that comes along, or I could be a scrub and play Jackpot 7 hahaha, although that is one of the more salt-inducing decks I'd imagine.
Yep you do! From what I remember at least ahaha. You can only catch one from her team at a time of course, so you knock out the ones you don't want until she uses what you're after o/
It was alright haha. Too tired yesterday (was there like 14 hours) to really comment about it on PC. Don't mind me regurgitating a report, might as well keep some record of my matches to look back on.

    Spoiler:
That would make a good speculation, though :D

If you don't have any available Pokemon to battle when one of yours faints, you lose immediately XD

Well that's good! Not that cramming is good, but I guess it isn't... bad, either.
Thanks, and thanks for dueling me all these times haha!

But yeah I don't expect to do too well at regionals, but hey, first time, I thought why not see what things are like. I picked up a Masked Chameleon and Masked Hero Acid at locals today, so that might be good for tomorrow.
Haha no worries, we all appreciate your in-depth posts (haven't read the post yet, but I'm assuming it's insightful lol). But yeah I'm using Cloudians.
Hey I'd love one more ygopro session, regionals are actually tomorrow, so not much left in the planning stage lol. Decided on Cloudians just because I'm more comfortable with the deck. Anyways, I should be available for the next couple hours if you're free. If not, after like 10pm (I'm in the same time zone iirc), bc I'm prob heading to locals.
Yeah it sounds better, idk how I feel about having a dead Extra Deck space though lol. I actually play 107 in Plant Princesses, but they play triple Trade In haha.
Oh yeah, drawing outside of the Draw Phase would suck. But in the Extra Deck a good deal of people still run 101, maybe throwing in C101 wouldn't be too bad, heck I might've used it in Cloudians if I had the Rank-Up spell.
Yeah that's interesting, Konami's just stupid like that though. But even so, as a lucksack card, I've never seen it played before. There are some pretty good targets, is the clause and timing just bad, or people don't want to dedicate two spots in the Extra Deck?
Hm I've heard that name before but never knew what it did. What's the optimal play for that?
That's what I'm saying, the splash levels are a bit high for something that's pretty good. But what do I know, I thought everyone would be throwing in Mask Change II, but it hasn't been a problem.
Yeah true, plus the steal effect of Infinity. But 2700 or whatever it is can be pretty hard to beat over, considering most decks need card effects to bring out the boss monsters.
