My UK versions of Gold and Silver both died, but I replaced their batteries so they're good to go again. My Japanese versions of Gold and Silver are still going, as is my UK version of Crystal and US version of Silver - though they might give up the ghost quite soon. :S
Haven't checked my UK...
I was ten - I remember distinctly getting it for my tenth birthday as a joint present from my brother and sister. Got some TCG decks as well that year. :P
I still had the old chunky GameBoy Classic - so I wasn't even playing in black and white, it was black and green (or whatever horrid tint...
Not a Nintendo Power Mew contest, but something similar.
I entered a Nintendo Official Magazine contest back in '01 to win one of 251 Celebi's; to give people who couldn't visit the G/S Celebi tour a chance to get the elusive legendary.
I won, posted my cart and got it back a few days later...
Yep. Depending on which data he replaced for the new one, it'd change accordingly.
Though I don't see why he has to make it a new Pokemon. Can't it just be a regular shiny like in the original Gold and Silver?
This hack is absolutely awesome. Words can't express it - you, Zel, are a genius!
This is actually the only hack I've played that I've considered good enough to put on my Flash Advance - I want to play it that much.
Now the butt-kissing is out of the way...confession time. I read the FAQ on...
I would think day and night will be a scripting issue - something that'd be added by someone else, when the hack is reaching it's final stages.
Does FR use an internal clock? I'm sure someone with scripting experience could easily change Pokemon sets on certain routes for when it's supposed to...
Wow, I'm away from PC for ages and when I come back, this hack is still up and running!
That's dedication for you, kids.
Keep up the good work, Dark_E! :)
Holly! :D
Wicked. I've not got the that bit. I was all training up my Pokemon, and realised they were too weak, so I'm working on getting them strong.
Which starter did you choose? :\
Year 8 exams? Boy are you in for a surprise when your GCSEs and A-Levels come along. ^_^
Great looking hack by the way. Gold and Silver are easily my favourite Pokemon games in the series, and I've longed for a GBA remake.
Until then, I can look foward to this baby. :D Keep it up, dude!
Cheers! But...when I applied it to my US Sapphire ROM, it messed up REALLY bad - all the tiles and stuff were wrong.
Should have I done it to the European version, or shouldn't it matter?
Yeah looking a great hack, mate.
Can't wait for the next beta release! ^_^
Keep up the good work, too. Don't abandon us like Mewthree did so many times...?_?
Wow, I haven't been on Pokemon Community in ages ("last visited: June 23rd, 2005" :surprised ) and this is the first thread I look at.
Not only is it the first, but it's the best hack I've seen in a long time.
This is looking fantastic and definately a game I'd put on my Flash Cart to play...
