So this is genuine curiosity on my part, but what's the counter to saying that DOMA is unconstitutional? The fact that it passed in the first place?

As for the amendment, I know that much, and I kind of figured you wouldn't be referring to the citizenship clause. That wouldn't make an awful lot of sense. c:

Well I think I've expressed plenty of my sentiment, and my only question is very general about the state/federal issue. I don't know. I love to debate this stuff, but I'm a bit uninspired right now.

I actually remember replying to it, but mine was probably not the best example being written at 3 AM on very little sleep. Sleep deprivation gives me untold amounts of bravery for some reason, but that's not the point. xD
