Well, to me it looks more like the Unova region, which would make sense since this was at the end of a BW2 trailer (BTW did anyone actually see the trailer, because all I've seen is a picture. If none of us have seen the trailer then we can only guess how the announcement appeared; the fog could...
The only good thing I can see is Dragonite appearing...

Cynthia - Worst Champion in Pokémon history
Dawn - Disgusts me
Cilan and Iris for two more seasons - Did I hurt the writers in some way?
Maybe a new gym opened in Driftveil, and that they had to remove the lighthouse to make room for it. Meanwhile, Clay's gym was turned solely into a mine. Or maybe he got rich and retired.
@Charmageddon, I suggested the poison-type gym to be the first. If you look closely at the two images from the gym you can see that it looks very much like she (the poison-type leader) "thrashed" the Striaton Gym, and that she uses 2 Pokémon.
BTW, does anybody else see the resemblance between...

The Poison-type leader appears to be the first gym leader. If my eyes don't fool me she has two Pokémon, and her gym looks like a "thrashed" version of the Striaton Gym.
The player characters are OK. Although the male would be better without all that hair and that swimsuit-thingy under his...
That's definitely the Porygon-line, but other then that... I'm not sure... I haven't seen Kadabra since "Fear Factor Phony" (it probably left to join SOVA...). Togetic is rather rare too.
Well, if BW2 turns out to be a sequel, then the 5th game is the third part of the Unova series (a sequel to the sequel), I would have to buy it. Considering BW2's plot ends in a cliffhanger.
There is speculation that BW2 will include the Kanto region. If I remember correctly, if you beat the Pokemon League in your home-region you can enter the Champion League (please correct me if I'm wrong), then again it could just simply be a filler season. For all we know we might have all the...
