  • She's making over $500 in overtime this week. Eh, there were some legal complications involved with the other guy, but I won't get into details. Her boss was PO'd by it, to say the least, and he's just trying to get stuff straightened out so that other people don't up and quit on him in the aftermath.

Hahahaha, well I mainly started it cause I'm working on a new RTS story soooo I had to do it anyways!

Can I make you happy by saying I am currently writing a story? :P
My sister has been pulling 12-14 hour shifts the past few days. She's had her hours screwed up because someone at her work was forced to quit due to circumstances I can't explain. Don't feel bad about having more hours, though. I usually don't work more than 3-5 hours a day and that's when I actually have work scheduled.
Well, let me put it like this: don't be like Chumlee from Pawn Stars! Okay, he's really not as dimwitted as acts, but his attitude makes him the butt of the joke on the show.
You'd be surprised how automatic things come as you learn them. I started out with my dad years ago with barely any carpentry-like skills at all; now everything's pretty much second nature.
How do you think I feel every day after work? Well, I say that, but I'm so used to lifting heavy carpets that a lot of the time I just go into a sort of overdrive and heft things without even thinking. The only downside to my work is that, after a big job or long day of heavy lifting, my arms are so and my legs cramp up badly (that's the other half of the job: if I'm not lifting rugs, I'm on my knees all day).
Dead-man's lift was my specialty. I scared people when I started lifting up to 100 pounds or more. It took a toll on my muscles, though.
Meh, I take it you're not heavy-set? PE was always kind of a nightmare for me because I've always had a 'weight issue.' Some days, I could barely keep up with what we were doing. Despite my bulk, though, I've always been physically strong. I actually scared the living heck out of people when it came to weightlifting or stuff that demanded real strength. But then, that came from all the years I've helped my dad lift carpets during summer break! XD
Ah, Chespin is just too cute <3

Never done a challenge before, but primarily because I don't want to lose my save files :P
Oh, that's cool. Well, my high school was...meh-ish... I was what you'd consider the 'social outcast' of my class. I spent a lot of time on my own either studying or just avoiding people in general. I had a few friends who were also 'outcasts,' but for the most part, I liked to spend time on my own. I actually hated having to team up with people in PE or be put into a group with other students since I had sort of an independent streak and wanted to do things on my own.
Eh, yoga's one of the most stressful regimens out there... I can't believe people actually do it. I would've thought it'd have gone out of style years ago if not for my mom using some of the techniques in her workout regimen (she's into Zumba and part of that involves doing yoga techniques mid-dance).

Well, back on topic: I take it that teams weren't that balanced then. I mean, everyone still has different athletic abilities or lack there of. I'm 6'6", but I never played the football or basketball teams in school (I can't run fast or jump high, respectively).
That's a little unfair, I'd think, depending on how teams were formed. Were people allowed to pick who they wanted too or was it a thing where you were assigned to a team? If the jocks got together, they'd generally pulverize anyone else. At least, when it came to team games in PE when I was in high school, that's exactly how it was.
Ah, I see. Pizza and coffee stand though, neat! Well, certainly the pizza one. I actually don't drink coffee, although I can't argue with a hot chocolate... learning how to make delicious pizza sounds like a great skill, haha. send some please

That looks like a pretty interesting sort of card game. Giant crabs attacking ships? Dang.

It's an assignment for a plasma astrophysics course. Basically with these assignments it's maths disguised as plasma physics. :V So solving a bunch of questions with a lot of algebraic manipulation along the way. Writing some up rn, and it's due tomorrow. Luckily I only need 50% on each assignment for credit (some benefits to post-grad courses I suppose), and I should have enough to be comfortable.
Hmm, yeah that does seem like a lot. Too bad though I just don't have the deep interest or even time to teach myself :(

By the way, if it's okay for me to ask, which starter did you choose in your X?
Lucky! The closest thing I got to that in high school was our Phy. Ed. teachers taking us to the bowling alley; however, we had to pay our own way every session during the bowling unit... :/ My mom was PO'd by it because we couldn't afford the $5 fee every time we had class, which was every other day during the week and it was a three week unit.
Same here... I haven't bowled for real in at least a couple years. Like I said, my local bowling alley's part of a bar. I couldn't stand going there because 1.) I know everybody who goes there and 2.) there all smokers and alcoholics... >.>
Oh, god, don't remind me... >.> Bowling! Now that was fun in Wii Sports. I used to enjoy real bowling, but I almost never went out to really do it. Our town's bowling alley is really small and it's part of a bar. The lingering smell of liquor and smoke always bugged me whenever I went into it when I was younger.
I think the only version of golf I remotely liked was miniature golf (now, call that a 'sport' and I'll whoop your you-know-what! :P). I can't stand real golf. It's such a boring pastime... I almost never played it on Wii Sports either, when I first got my Wii back in 2009, because I knew how boring it was in real life.
