Emerald. Ruby was the very first Pokémon game I got, but Emerald was an expanded and revamped version of it. It'll always hold a special place in my heart. Explorers of Sky and Platinum would be a close second and third. Their storylines were so good.

It's been a while since I've been able to play, but I was on Emerald a couple of months ago. I was completing part of the Battle Frontier—Battle Pike, I think?

This is a tough one... probably Aggron, though! Not very commonly used but pretty strong offensively and defensively. Also pretty similar to Tyranitar, which is my fav of all time.

This would have saved me a lot of time! I can't even count how many combinations I've tried to make Wanda laugh but to no avail. Hopefully, if she returns, another phrase generator will be made. :p

^This would be awesome. I'd love the game even more if Game Freak were to make custom sprites for each Pokémon that can be taught Surf. So when we're Surfing on a Floatzel, for example, the character would actually be riding on top of a Floatzel sprite instead of a generic Wailmer lookalike...

I almost always picked Treecko as my starter. My Water type would either be Whiscash or, later on when I could catch it, Walrein.

Secret bases were awesome! I liked to have mine on Route 119; you needed Surf and/or an Acro Bike to access it. It often rained on that route, which was a bonus. Despite that, I often chose different locations so I always forgot where my base was.

I started up the ol' Leaf Green as well as Emerald a couple days ago in wake of the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire reveal. Nuzlocke for LG, nothing for Emerald. Ah, the feels are coming back. I feel old now; R/S released 11 years ago? Back on topic... On Leaf Green, I chose Bulbasaur as my stater...
