  • Good luck! I still have around 20 perfects to get or so. Trying to get all perfects in Rhythm Heaven is the best thing. (Helps that I had people watching and cheering on me for Fever, haha.)

    I dread monkey watch though. It's the only one that I have no confidence in perfecting. :( It was the same for Tap Troupe until I got a perfect on my try to getting a superb. Remix 8 is gonna be hell as well, I've tried getting a perfect on that one even without the perfect chance and no luck.
    Yeah that's the same with us! We only sorta.. got shown the 3D interface. I pretty much learned how to animate in 3D by myself and trial and error. I don't know how to model at all.. but I know basic rigging. You can get free rigs off of the 11secondclub's website to play around with in 3D~ But heck that's only if you want to try 3D right now :3 And yeah I totally get that you want to find what you love best and what you enjoy doing best :3
    And it is true. My school taught me all about animation- from storyboard and character design.. to liveaction scriptwriting. No programming though.. just arts stuff ._. I couldn't do programming either!

    So what do you want to be the most if you could choose anything? :333
    Both. I did 4 years of traditional animation at university, and I have almost 2 years of industry 3D animation under my belt now (I work in games.) Too busy to do a PC gallery tbh.. but would be nice if I could find the time! Perhaps when my PC is fixed up at home (photoshop likes to crash!)
    Touched was my introduction to Warioware, so I still have a soft spot for it. I thought it was an amazing game to showcase the DS with, so me and my friends loved it. It was short lived though, because it got boring after a while. After that I wrote off Warioware, thinking it was a one trick pony, until I got the original on my ambassador 3DS. Been into Warioware ever since.

    You're not helping. I'm waiting until next week to play it, but I'm so tempted to just boot it up and try. I don't think Rhythm Tengoku is gonna leave the GBA until then though. I'm gonna be so busy until Luigi's Mansion 2, that's for sure.

    Do you think I should play Twisted on a DS lite or original GBA? I'm leaning towards DS Lite because I need to be close to a light for the GBA, but I heard the GBA is much more comfortable to play Twisted with. If only I had a Micro. :/

    Let's hope if they were to release a new Rhythm Heaven (and if hopefully it gets localized) on the 3DS/WiiU, we get Tengoku's versatility and controls with Fever's simplistic style and challenge. Oh wow now that I think about it, Rhythm Heaven in 3D/HD would be so rad. Too bad I actually doubt we're getting a sequel. I agree with you on Polyrhythm, it's my favorite game with the widget, and one of my favorites in Tengoku. Was really impressed when I first played it. I really liked hopping road too.

    The games you mentioned are actually the most memorable to me. Especially Bon Odori! It's my favorite.
    I'm an animator, too, you know! (Saw you post in a thread I made.) Hahaha!
    As long as there's content, and the microgames are varied and interesting (Touched! suffered from this), I'm good. I hope the music is good as well, that's actually a thing I really like about the series. I can't decide if I liked DIY or the original's music the best. :P

    While we're on Warioware, what do you think of Game & Wario? Interested, or would have preferred another microgame collection game?

    I played a bit of Wario World yesterday. It's a fun beat-em up, and piledriving enemies with Wario is oddly satisfying. There are platforming puzzle rooms in levels that's actually really good. I think the game looks pretty ugly and blurry though (I'm playing on an HDTV so take that as you will), and Wario is hard to control, but I'm used to Wario Land being so responsive.

    Better than DS, but not as good as Fever. I haven't beaten the game yet, but what you said is exactly how I feel. The games also are pretty easy (haven't tried for perfects yet though) and thus less memorable than the ones in Fever and DS, I feel. I'll judge it better when I beat it, but I love the variety it has that's lacking in Fever and DS.
    Been a while since we talked so I'm just going to mention that I just imported Warioware Twisted! Can't wait to give it a try.

    I also got Wario World (collecting Wario games currently, haha) so I'll give some impressions if you're still curious about it.

    You were right about Rhythm Tengoku by the way. Sooooo good.
    Hello!

    Alexial has shown me a good deal of your art and, trust me, I LOVE Nidorina and Nidorino! She spends a lot of time showing me things on aquabunny, so I'm pretty familiar with your work and must say that I'm a fan.

    I'll warn you now, I seldom post concise thoughts, so feel free to breeze through most of my words and just jump to the bottom where I'll usually have my thoughts gathered up for public consumption.

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

    (edited to add Nidorino, as leaving him out would be a crime)
    I can't even grammar, how do you expect me to user profile?

    Not much, just enjoying my extended weekend. What about you? :)
    Sorry about the delay in getting back to your VM. I'm not the most organised mind on the face of the planet. Creative director, or anything in that line of work is very hard to get yes. I'll be working with a few bigger companies this Summer, so I hope to get more in on the inside track.

    It's something I started when I was like, 15, and never wanted to throw down. If I started something now, I'd do something a lot less typical. You can take a look at the thread here, and my dA here. Enjoy!
    Love your discussion thread in A&D. I'm about to really sink my teeth into it now, but I wanted to give you a thumbs up for a really great discussion.

    Speaking of discussions... I haven't forgotten to reply to your VM, I promise! <3;

    AND SPEAKING OF SPEAKING YOU NEVER CONGRATULATED ME ON MY PROMOTION D:< nonono, i'm not being serious.

    Also, talk to this user. He's new, but he's also easily one of the smartest people on PC. You two are kindred spirits.
    .....he's also my irl boyfriend.
    Valentines day..what to do what to do..lol

    I'd keep it. It looks cute, even for Valentines day. I'd just switch out the avy for something valentines day related.
    Fooo brother. Sorry I didn't respond! I've been in a bit of a haze and running all about. Just got to my VMs @_@;

    Ehhh, Scott Pilgrim. It's not my cup of tea, but bless them (and Kick Ass) for bringing comics to new people. A lot of people feel daunted by the story lines of other characters, so these new geek-chic comics are a perfect conduit into the heavier stuff.

    It's not quite like they were *leading up to it*. It's more like... anyone who is well aware of the event can pick up hints of it. It's kind of like seeing what you want to see, you know? All that stuff at the end of the third movie (or at least.. think it was the 3rd?) with Magneto and Xavier talking. "Endless search for Hope" on the back of the death of Jean Grey, the original host of the Phoenix Force. "Hope" being Cable's daughter (who was living in the future at the time Hope was growing up -- something Xavier can see!) and the next heir to the Phoenix. Magneto says something to the effect of "you can't prevent the disasters that are about to happen". SPOILER Xavier died (again) in AvX so... ya...

    Like I said, it's just vague enough for diehard fans to milk something out it of. Idk, but I do hope they make the movie! The series AvX was only like.. 6 books long or something. They've made movies (and butchered) out of 600+ series sooo...
