Oh wow, I completely understand.
When you take care of your hair, it horrifies your hairdresser to walk in & say "just chop it all off below the Medula's soft spot" XD

Though when you take good care of your hair (certain conditioners, regular brushing, covering it in honey, coconut shavings & aloe vera for 20 minutes every night before showering to make it smell like a fresh bakery), it's sad to see it go.
