    Favorite Grass Starter?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, of course... ...but Snivy leading Bulbasaur? xD I don't support that. Bulbasaur is an easy choice for me here.

    Favorite Water Starter?

As a whole, the water starters are best. Looking them over, only Oshawott fails to appeal to me. I'm really torn between Squirtle, Totodile, and Froakie. Squirtle: The original water starter. It gets bonus points for that. Blastoise is downright awesome. Cannons coming out of its shell...

    Are you a technical battler?

As is the case with most players, my style differs strongly between battles against CPU players and human players. Against the CPU, it's normally best to take a strong offensive approach without playing around too much with stat changers or ailments. Of course, depending on the match-up, that...

    X: Oh, Baby Baby

I voted for Pichu, Togepi, and Riolu. On average, I'm not a fan of baby pokemon that were conceived AFTER their evolved forms. Like Munchlax, Happiny or Mime Jr. being added in gen 4. Pichu is the only exception I'll make. It seemed appropriate to add a stage to Pikachu--the face of Pokemon...

    Your favorite Pokemon list?

I'll list my top 10 favorite pokemon in no particular order: Alakazam Probopass Nidoking Pidgeot Jolteon Kingler Tauros Leavanny Heracross Seismitoad As for some of my favorite types? I'm not sure I necessarily favor particular types. Maybe Bug, Grass, Psychic, Electric and Poison. But if...

Living things that are not pokemon

A question I have that may pertain to this topic: Does anybody in the Pokemon world eat meat? If so, it must be either pokemon meat (Slowpoke Tail?) or human meat. There are probably a lot of vegetarians running around.

4th Gen 4th Gen Help Thread

Magnezone is superior to Electivire, in my opinion. The best electric moves in the game fall under the special category. Magnezone can dish out more damage than Electivire, and has far better defenses/resistances. Neither pokemon can really cite speed as a key strength, though Electivire is...

4th Gen If you had to choose one Pokémon...

Probopass for sure. Its previous form, Nosepass, is a Hoenn native, but Probopass hit the scene in Sinnoh. Probopass has incredible defenses and tons of resistances. But I'd choose it mostly for being one of my favorite pokemon.

    4th Gen Disappointments

Biggest disappointment with HGSS: What happened to the DECENT TMs (prior to defeating the Champion)? Almost literally, every TM I picked up was trash. The decent TMs were mostly prizes at the Goldenrod Game Corner. Except the Game Corner became the home of one of the worst side games in...

1st Gen When was the last time you played?

Wow. It's actually been quite some time since I've played R/B/Y in its original form. I normally opt for Fire Red/Leaf Green whenever I return to the first generation (I'll play these through at least several times a year). But the original versions? I probably haven't played those in 15...

6th Gen Best thing that X/Y introduced?

The move to 3D is--to me--the most significant change that Pokemon X/Y introduced. Instead of watching two frozen sprites (they move a little in B/W 2, I suppose) standing on a white screen next to their respective HP bars, we're able to experience our battles in a much more interesting way...

    Favorite Fire Starter?

It's close between Charmander and Cyndaquil. Since Typhlosion is my favorite fully evolved fire starter, I'm going with Cyndaquil. Typhlosion is such an intimidating-looking pokemon. Very cool.

    4th Gen Hardest Fight!

Is this meant to be a joke? Three legendary pokemon, a starter, and a solid 5th pokemon? Not too shabby. Not having a full team is somewhat detrimental along with not having great type coverage, but with grinding, it's not at all surprising to discover that you won with that team. But...
